Well, I hit my yearend goal of losing 30 pounds and reducing my bodyfat. I’m so excited. I’ve updated my goal to lose 20 pounds and reduce my bmi by 4-5% by March. That would put me at 130 lbs and 14-15% bmi. I really don’t want my bmi to go lower than that. I’m still hoping to compete in the Woman’s Figure in May and if I hit my March goal this would give me a couple weeks to change my diet or target tough areas.
My problem area is lower abs, thighs and in my opinion, my butt. I’ve added another day to lower body and lower abs and I’ve been slacking a little on cardio with the holidays. I need to maintain. My diet is clean.

When your as big as I was you tend to stay away from mirrors. Now I find myself spending lots of time there. Its not a vanity thing I’m just amazed by the tranformations in my body. Lately when I’ve been working out I’ve noticed these little veins that pop out and I can see the muscle (I think) moving under the skin. I’ve never seen that before. I’m also amazed that my weight stays the same but my clothes are shrinking. Speaking of clothes we should have a consignment shop link on here somewhere. I spend a fortune in clothes and I only wear them for 6-8 weeks. They are brand new, I can’t be the only female with that issue. Oh, and one other concern, where’d my boobs go? Will they ever come back or do I need to start pricing plastic? (lol)

Well, it’s been about 5 weeks since I joined this site and it’s time to evaluate my goals of losing 30 pounds and 6 percent body fat by Christmas. The bad news I’ve lost 10 pounds, gained 3, lost 2, gained 1, lost one. I’ve been fighting with the same 3 pounds for 3 weeks. Well, I took the advise of one of my new friends on here (thanks Carl) and added 2 cheat days. Looks like I may have broken the plateau. Time will tell. Now for the good news, I’m down 2.6 percent bmi. I’m so excited. No doubt I will hit my bmi goal by Christmas. My trainer said I shouldn’t worry about the scale, but I need to keep up my cardio. His word is law for the next 7 months.
