Just got a new program and the results have been fantastic. Instead of lifting 5 days a week I have cut it down to 3 days a week but lifting much heavier with a mix of high rep calisthetic type excercises. The lean muscle is pooring on, and it is coming quickly. I spent a good 45 minutes in my gym yesterday and though today is an off day all I want to do is get back in there, abs/cardio today only but I itch for a dumbell.

What motivates us? What gives us the drive for success in what we do and where we see ourselves doing it? I seem to have hit a rut and having one hell of a time getting out of it. Distractions from work, home life, and school are driving me down and away from the goals I have set out to achieve. Does this make me weak in the mind, body, and soul? I would hate to think so but it could be true. What motivates you and how do you keep on it? Should life really control our decisions and our destiny’s?

I like to think of myself as a pretty devoted guy when it comes to things, but I am sure alot of you can relate to this, it’s so hard to say no to that scoop of ice cream or extra 6 in at subway. I do my best to cut back but its so hard its like I can not tame my cravings and it makes my diet extremely difficult. How do I push past this? How do I keep that diet that gets me to the body I want to get to? It is hard and very frustrating. I can push weights around all day but if I am not eating right, what am I doing for myself?
