Less intense morning session and a great shoulder day this afternoon. Tired, I’ll tell you that.

Morning: this wasn’t all one giant set, like I said it was less intense.

Training Lately

Things have been going well, the weights have been going up, my diet has been on point and I’m getting closer to the show. I’ve actually been getting leaner by not eating less than maintenance if you can believe it (it’s almost exactly as what I originally planned, just more of it). With the possibility of being on Gladiator still in the back of my mind (no word yet) I’ve been training a lot. Way more than I have in years actually. But I’m eating just enough to keep muscle on while burning fat and basically compensate for the amount of training time I have per day. I have also been supplementing quite well- pretty much pretending I’m supplementing during a mass cycle, just less food. Gaspari’s SizeOn kicks ass. I have a pretty sick intra workout shake that I believe has been doing an enormous amout of good- SizeOn with one scoop of IDS WaxiMaize and two scoops of Optimum Whey, with some BCAAs. 70g carbs and 50ish g protein during my heavy lifting session. Honestly I feel like I’ve been doing the near impossible of actually adding muscle and dropping fat lately. Needless to say I’m pretty damned stoked.

Business has been good and I have an amazing “new” (well we’ve been dating near a couple months now anyway) girlfriend. She’s amazing. I’m gonna stop here because I’m tempted to just ramble on about it, but this is bodybuilding, so I should prolly just stay on task. She’s, well, what can I say, I’m pretty smitten. Anyway. Yeah. I put some new progress pics up and stuff and will be putting up a video of me push press 275 for 6 sometime soon. I guess that’s about it, so I’ll get.. to all good training and a good night.
