Today I started my new training program and nutrition plan..

I trained my back and a small amount of chest today. I don’t like to work chest but I did go ahead and lift but with very light weight. I also did some squats (not in the plan). I try to do something for my butt at least every other day. I’m really focused on keeping my butt firm! Anyway, I will do measurements, weight, and pics weekly for anyone who wants to follow along. My nutrition plan is going to suck. No carbs. I only get carbs from my two servings of fruit and my veggies throughout the day. It will take me probably about a week to adjust. I always get a headache when I cut out my complex carbs but I will do anything to lean out! I pretty much pigged out this weekend. I wanted to get my last taste of ice cream. LOL Twelve weeks of sticking to this will hopefully get me to where I want to be!!

I’m going to have a pity party! Wanna come?

UGH! I’m just a little cranky today. I just wish that I didn’t have periods anymore! I get so wiped out, don’t feel like going to the gym, and not to mention the 3-5 pounds of water weight that I put on. I swear to God– I bloat up like the Pillsbury Doughboy! I don’t know if it’s my age or the fact that I’ve had three kids but my cycles have gotten longer and heavier…I HATE IT!! Oh and did I mention that I practically live on sweets when I get my period? I feel like I step forward and then take two steps back when I start my cycle. Ok…sorry. Too much information I’m sure but I just had to rant! I’m sure I’ll feel better by Wednesday or so… at least I hope. I have two full day orientations to attend for Nursing school!

I feel like I’m not making much change lately. I know these things take time so I am going to be patient. I saw this girl at the gym that has the most amazing body….when I say amazing… I mean AMAZING! I asked one of the guys that works there how long it took her to get like that and he said 9 months of hardcore training. She does weight training 5 days a week and cardio twice a day 6 days a week! UGH….. that is alot of time at the gym. I haven’t had any personal trainers or nutritionists so I can only imagine what changes I could have made if I had help at the gym! Anyway, that is my rant for the day!

I got my mojo back!

Finally back into the swing of things and feeling stonger than ever! I’m eating great, doing lots of cardio, and lifting heavier than I ever have before. I love this high that I am on. I notice myself walking around with my head held a little higher. I still remember walking into the gym and not really knowing what I was doing. I watched everyone else and just tried to figure things out. I wouldn’t even walk over into the free weight area because there were so many guys over there and I was just not confident enough. Boy how things have changed! I did tons of research, got fantastic advice on this site, and even started talking to some people at the gym. I now go over in the free weight area and lift with the best of them! It feels really great! I actually had someone come over and ask me for help! Now THAT felt good! Anyway, that’s all for now!

Getting back in the groove….

I do NOT recommend going on vacation and eating like crap! When I got back I felt like crap and it was tough getting back into my routine. I had to work twice as hard to get back what I had the week prior! I am now back on my game and ready to make some serious changes. I am lifting heavy and have turned up the heat on my cardio. No more messing around. I made a huge change when I first started this whole transformation in just two months. I want to make another transformation now. I am looking to really build some nice lean muscle and seriously lean out….. but not too much. I don’t want to look "thin."

Today marks the two month mark….

Since I started my transformation. I am very happy thus far. Now for some goals…. I hope to drop 2% bodyfat within the next two months. I want to build my legs a little more and show some serious cuts in my arms, back, and abs! I know I can do this!!

I had my bodyfat tested again today. I didn’t make much of a change but I guess any change is good. I really thought that I might have a much bigger change so I am a little down about that. Oh well… I guess I have to suck it up and train harder. I am hoping that the extra cardio that I started this week will help push me in the right direction!

Does anyone else experience any problems with p.m’s? I have a lot of legitimate messages asking for advice and so on but then I get messages that are kind of annoying. Some guys are trying to be "cute" with their p.m’s. They are complimenting me but go a little over the top. I have had one too many and I know for a fact that my husband would NOT be happy if he read some of the messages that I have received! I try to be nice and tell whoever sent it to please stop and some I ignore completely. I really don’t want to be rude but I am not here to be "picked up."  I am here to learn from others and maybe inspire someone… I don’t need to know how "ripe" my butt looks or how much someone would like to "do" me!! Come on guys!! Please…enough is enough. I am not trying to be a bitch. I am just trying to get in shape!!

Either I am measuring wrong or I am losing my mind. How is it that I can lose 1/2 and inch in my waist in 3-4 days? That is just not possible or at least I thought. Anyway, I am trying to take daily pics now so that I can truly watch the transformation. I cannot wait for my next 8 weeks! I am becoming a psycho in the gym! LOL I also tried SuperCharge Xtreme N.O. today. Pretty good stuff. I’m still all jacked up though. I haven’t decided whether or not I like this feeling!

I have made a big change! I am very please. I looked back at my before pics and can’t believe how much breast tissue I have lost! That sucks! LOL …. but I will deal with it considering the changes I have made!! Still sticking to the nutrition plan. I did have a couple cookies last night though!! I couldn’t help it. My girls were trying to get me to take a bite and I couldn’t resist anymore!!
