First post
Heeey first post. Alright, so wrestling season has been over with for a while, and I decided against volleyball. So I took up weightlifting. Now being 17 theres a lot I can and can’t do, and I still have school and things like that. But it’s all good.
My main problem now isn’t working out. I have two: Getting form right, and nutrition right.
As we speak those are my two biggest problems. My form isn’t perfect, and I can’t do it on auto pilot. So I still have a while to go. That and getting back into weightlifting, and beings a bit more serious about it, I got to figure out nutrition again. With wrestling I could eat a lot of things because I knew I would burn it off. Can’t do that so much now. So I’m trying to read up on nutrition articles and all that good stuff. Figuring out what foods I need to put into my diet and what foods I need to take out. Thats the hard part. My head is swimming with this stuff, and it isn’t easy for me to pick up.
It’s week 4, and I’ve seen some alright gains. I’ve toned up a bit, but my nutrition hasn’t been right, so my fat loss isn’t what it should be. So I’m using this weekend as a study session. Reading up on all the articles I can on BB.com, favoriting the ones that help me the most, and going back and taking notes. After that I’m going to look over articles about certain exercises to get form right. (Anyone know any good books that teach form?) Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not an idiot. I played football and wrestling, and we had to weight lift for both. It was a heads up kind of, they taught me the basics of bodybuilding, like how your body adapts so you have to change things up every now and then, and things like that. But my form is still off, and I know I can make better gains if I get it down.
Sooo yeah, first post. Exciting ain’t it? I’m off to read. Later.
