Decided to just blast the hell out of the floor presses today and jump up by 10lbs and hit a total volume PR. 255×3 came and went and by the time I hit a double at 275 I realized I was on a roll for a big PR fest. AMPED TOTALLY AMPED!!!!!!!!!! I about failed at 285 and almost brought my leg up to drive with but I kept it curled up.

Once I hit 245 on the Pulls I felt like my arms were being ripped out of their socket and couldn’t get a full lockout. Sumo I was doing okay but I’ve always been weaker conventional style. I will work on this next week again and I WILL lock those out!!! Funny, I just watched the vids and it sounds like the bands are just ripping apart!!! I was feeling pretty beat up but pushed on to the box squats. I wanted to keep it at 16in this week and not go up to the 18in.
I had 495 on the bar and decided to put on just a little more to hit a MAJOR PR w/ no wraps. I didn’t feel like I got down onto the box good enough after the first rep and my anger kicked in pretty good and went for a double. It hurt like hell and I thought I had sharted my self in the process. Turns out I didn’t but boy did I have a bad case of swamp ass.
I have no idea how I did this though. Last week I had almost missed with 495×1 off a 18in box. I was pissed off and angry is all I know. I kept thinking to myself how I really wanted to be up to a 500lbs squat by this April meet before I tore my tendon.

I was really amped going into the 315 and wanted to go for 3 but I almost racked it after the first one. I was burned out after hitting two other triple PR’s in a row. Next week back to the floor press one last time then I wont go over a 1 board as I’m really getting close to the meet now. If I don’t watch out I’ll be in the 242 class with the really fat guys. Though I don’t think I’m going to cut back on my calories. Finally starting to get used to what 6000 calories feel like. I’ve been constantly filled to the gills and always have gurgling type burps. I’ll just have to make sure to take a 10 pound dump before weigh in.

I just got a pair of APT Convict wrist wraps and I LOVE THEM!!! I would NOT have thought that I would like a cast type wrap for the wrists but I do. I was thinking I wanted to try out the ZRV-PRO wrist wraps as they are softer but NOPE I’m in love with the convict wrist wrap. I’m still not in complete love with them as a knee wrap but they will be my wrist wrap of choice that is for sure. They completely lock my hands into place and surprisingly are not that uncomfortable. I thought that I would hate them but tried them anyways. VERY glad I did.

Caught up here now and back in sync with what I did today. My tendon is probably at around 90% now. Looks good to be ready for the April 26th meet.

Doing semi okay today up till I got to the 495. It was just a nagging pain then the 495 hurt like a bitch. I was about to bring it back down to the pins about half way through but got pissed off and pushed through it. More MICE…. Will, post a couple vids later when I get the chance.
