The Year of The Monster Is Coming

So yesterday was the Europa fitness expo in Orlando, and what a great experience it was. A lot of fitness buffs from all ages showed up yesterday. It didn’t matter if you were two or eighty two there was something there for all yesterday. It was very well run and well organized and remined me of the Arnold Classic years ago before it became way too overcrowded( Anyone who has been to the Arnold in the last few years knows exactly what I am talking about.) There were bodybuilding stars like Marcus Hailey, Diana Cadeau, Bob Chic, and Shawn Ray just to name a few. Not to mention the Mens pro, and Fitness and Figure Pro shows that took place. The Europa also had mens, womens, fitness, and figure ameateur shows that had some pretty stiff competition. Mixed martial arts fans got treated to such guest as Matt Huges. Pro wrestling fans even had a few notable names show up.

Some of the noteable booths were bodybuilding.com (of course) VPX, The Beast, BSN, and Muscle Milk. If you are into free stuff this was the place to be. There were free supplements, t-shirts, hats, and tons of swag for all the swag hags. People were just walking off with bags of freebies and promotional stuff.

So I’m feeling a little excited but a little overwhelmed at the same time. My next week or so is going to be quite busy. The Europa Supershow is sat. I am really excited for this! I love fitness expos, talking to all the people at the booths, seeing the stars and just being around a bunch of like minded fitness people. I then have to make sure I have all my work done with my clients lined up for the next week on Sunday cause I am leaving town on Monday. I am heading back to Boston for a week to work with some people and to also see some old friends and catch up. I’m actually not really sure if I am excited to go back to Boston or not. Yes I have to work but I am going to see a lot of old friends and fam that I have not seen in a while. Normally that would excite the normal person but I really have not gotten jazzed about it yet.  Maybe it’s knowing I still have to work and train hard or maybe it’s just been so long since I was back that I don’t know what to expect. Who knows?
