Something I had to speak on

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

So I was over at china2u ’s bodyspace checking on her progress when something hit me foul. She and I have been working together nutritionally for a bit now getting ready to put her on stage this year. She’s a good woman and hard worker if you get a chance check her out at http://blog.bodybuilding.com/china2u .I was checking out her pics when a comment that someone left just touched me the wrong way. Some Jerk Off left a comment "Looks like a man". This woman has been working so hard at doing things right and now that she has some good muscle showing this is her reward. Now I understand we all live in a free country and have mixed bag of opinion on things but I think the one thing we all are taught (or should be taught) is tact and respect. I am all for differance of opinion and constuctive criticism but there is a line between giving a opinion and being rude. We all always taught that when you encounter someone you treat them with respect and how you want to be treated. I don’t know when it became exceptable that on the internet you can just be blatently rude and uncoof with no regard for others. I understand no one is in front of you directly to make you answer for your actions but how about answering to yourself.

"Do onto others as you would have them do onto you"

I think a lot of times some people forget what bodyspace is about. At least in my opinion it is a place where us fitness buffs get together to meet each other, exchange information, learn from each other, help each other, and yes at times to strut our stuff to one another. This shouldn’t be a place where we try and bring more of the worlds negativety. In some way shape or form everyone is trying to do or get something positive out of here. Let’s try and raise each other up and not tear each other down.
