The Back Machine

Friday, March 30th, 2007

Back day today but I used mostly machines. I still went all out but not like I would on free weights.My two reasons for machines were: 1. I didn’t have a lot of ump today. and 2. I feel I can control machines and cables better when I’m tired.

Barbell Bent Over Rows (my only free weight back exercise today) 5 sets of 9

Lat Row Machine 5 sets of 9

Pulley Rows 5 sets of 9

Reverse Grip Lat Pulldowns 5 sets of 9

Bis/Tis

Decline Close Grip Press/Barbell Curls 7 sets of 9

Cardio

25 min bike low intensity

25 min treadmill low intensity steep incline

Life is full of distractions.

Friday, March 30th, 2007

This has been a trying week with one day left to go. It seems everything wanted to be a distraction this week. Work, family, and a host of other things have just been interfering with training. Being totally honest things are not as bad as they sound. I have not missed any training(although I have not been going balls to the wall). I have not cheated on my diet but I’m not eating enough. I’m just not feeling confident. I’m the type of person that likes to give 110% so when I’m going at 95% I get really down on myself. One day of training left and then maybe I’ll have a few days to mentally boost myself up again.
