The rough ride today…

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

It was day 2 on my return program. It was the almighty legs day. I felt like I met a monster on my journey and had a all out battle today. My training partner pushed and destroyed me. We started off with deep box squats for sets. I like these because they help me get stronger and squat better when I do multiple sets of regular squats. We also use a 8 inch box so basically we are almost sitting on the floor.  The workout went like this:

Box squats 6sets of 5

Leg Presses 5 sets of 12

Smith Machine Lunges 4 sets of 9

Leg Extentions 4 sets of 9

Romanian Deadlifts 4 sets of 9

Glute Ham raises 4 sets of 12

Donkey Calf raises 5 sets 0f 15-20

Besides feeling like I got hit by a truck everything went well. I’m off tommorow so it will be all about eating and recovering.

First day out!!!

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

So today was the actual first day of training for me on the road back. Today in the gym was Chest and Biceps.  The wokout went as such..

Chest

Bench presses 4sets of 9 reps

Incline Hammer Strength Machine 4 sets of 9 reps

Pec deck 4 sets of 9 reps

Tricep dip machine 4 sets of 9 reps

Biceps

Straight Bar Curls 4 sets of 9 reps

Barbell Preacher Curls 4 sets of 9 reps

Reverse curls 4 sets of 9 reps

Machine Curls 3 sets of 15

I felt like I had a dam good workout today. Lots of energy and was happy about were my strength is now.

I also am making sure that I am more than consistant on my diet. Not missing a step in the meal department.

Well I’m off for now but Legs are tommorow
