The rough ride today…
Wednesday, November 29th, 2006It was day 2 on my return program. It was the almighty legs day. I felt like I met a monster on my journey and had a all out battle today. My training partner pushed and destroyed me. We started off with deep box squats for sets. I like these because they help me get stronger and squat better when I do multiple sets of regular squats. We also use a 8 inch box so basically we are almost sitting on the floor. The workout went like this:
Box squats 6sets of 5
Leg Presses 5 sets of 12
Smith Machine Lunges 4 sets of 9
Leg Extentions 4 sets of 9
Romanian Deadlifts 4 sets of 9
Glute Ham raises 4 sets of 12
Donkey Calf raises 5 sets 0f 15-20
Besides feeling like I got hit by a truck everything went well. I’m off tommorow so it will be all about eating and recovering.
