Another shot at Day 1

Well, I had gotten back to 3 days a week then my mom-in-law came and added stress to the household so missed a week now trying to get back to it AGAIN..  My weight has stayed down so that is good.  Need to get back to 3 days and then will shoot for 5 not going full on for 5 right away as I think that is what I did wrong after I was sick.. Tried to jump back in where I left off and needed to work into it.. So doing just cardio right now and after 8 workouts I will start back on the weights..  Praying that the stress in my life can settle a bit so that I am not so run down from it all the time.. DARN ECONOMY.. NEED A BREAK..

FRUSTRATED..

The last two weeks I have gone 2-3 times doing cardio trying to get back to weights after being sick.  This next week I will add weights back in which means getting up a half hour earlier.. I know this all sounds like whining and I think I am just pissed cuz I was beyond all this.  I had gotten past the, I do not want to get up chant that happens when the alarm goes off.  I was beyond dreading the mornings and looked forward to going.. being sick for 6 days and then not having a voice for a week and being horse for a week (still is not back 100%) completely squashed my routine and now I am starting over which ticks me off too.. Ok.. I have had my rant and I will get over it and move on and be up at 5:00am on Monday morning.

Well I am finally getting back to the gym altho’ missed yesterday and this morning so will have to have my hubby kick me out of bed in the a.m. It is very frustrating because I had crossed that line of it being hard to get up then bam got sick.  I am just now getting my voice back and I am very tired at the end of the day still.  So, started back on my pre-diabetes meds and will see if that gets me back in line if that does then will slowing go off them again once I am back to working out 5 days aweek.  I have put off my Dr. appt until next month as I was so sick for such an extended period I know my numbers will be off so this will give me a full 30 days of being healthy before I go again.  Very frustrated to day as I want to go to the gym but I know to full recoup I also need to get good amount of rest and I have to work during the day.  I have been so tired by the end of a work day that I have fallen asleep in my car at my son’s soccer practice 2 times now.  (not good).. My goal for next week is to get up and go 5 days to the gym..

Well we all have it now

Okay so all 4 of us have had this yuck now.  I think I am on the mend altho’ if really do much I get way tired.. vacuumed and cleaned up leaking washing machine mess and I am sweaty and fried..  But hopeful I will get to start back at the gym by the end of the week.  Will start slow doing just cardio and will work into weights like before.  Starting over sucks

Well we all have it now

Still sick

Pretty sure I am dying..LOL or maybe that is wishful thinking at this point.  This is day 3/day4 since I started feeling yucky on Sunday evening.. My weight is way down and not from lack of eating (yesterday had toast and small bowl of cheerios for breakfast, a footlong veggie sandwich from subway and then some chicken nuggets for dinner) Must be the fever or the fact that I am up around the clock coughing.. This is the worst flu I have ever had. My entire body hurts (no lie even my hair) Fever comes and goes but when it is here it stays for a few hours before breaking.  I have had to go to work as my boss is out of town and I am the only other lic. person there.  I did come home today and we had someone from the district fill in for me.  I slept most of the time and struggled to swim to the surface when my hubby took my daughter to the bathroom (she has it now too) This sucks.

Day 1 if the flu

Okay so today was first full day of the flu.. My son had it for a full 4 days my hubby is on day 4 now and not feeling any better.. Good news.. down a pound.. lol bad news will not be making it to the gym tomorrow morning.. Hoping for Weds..

I am sick with the flu.. I ache from head to toe (literally, my gums even ache).  I feel like I could not fight my way out of a paper bag.. My son was sick for a good 4 days an now my husband is still sick and has been since Friday.  So now it is my turn.  Felt yucky all night and today not much better.  Needless to say I did not go to the gym.  Figured I did not need to spread this around to any unsuspecting people.  I bet the sani spray would not prevent this from making others feel like crap..

I am not too hopeful about doing more than 3 days this week and will be estatic if I go that many times the way I feel right now.. grrr..

i am getting sick.. my son had the flu from sometime Sunday night to pretty much
Friday of this last week.  My hubby came down with it on Thursday and is still sick today..probably the worst day he has had was today.  Now today I am feeling achey and yucky… NOOOOOO I was supposed to do 5 days again.. This was the first time my weight stayed down all week.. no up and down so finally i could say I lost the 3 lbs and kept them off.. woohoo..now I am sick

It has been a week of first for me

Yesterday was the first time I was actually able to do a full cardio workout on the cross trainer..  And this is the first time ever that I have been able to make it to the gym 5 DAYS.. woohoo.. It helped that I had Thurs and Friday off work but there was no forgetting to set the alarm (my hubby did that last week) there was no migrane.. I actually did it.. I feel like that was a major hurdle for me and a source of frustration… It was a goal I had set and I was not able to meet it so every time something happened it defeated me actually both things did that.. I have conquered them.. LOL
