Awsome LBM jump

Well, I went in and got my bodycomp done last night.  Last time I got my stats was on Oct. 2 so just under two months ago.

 Oct. 2, I was at ~15.8% bodyfat, with a lean body mass of 177 lbs.

 Last night I was measured at 14.22% bodyfat with a lean body mass of 193 lbs.

 

What an awsome change, I added a whole 16 lbs of lean mass while dropping 1.5% bodyfat!!!  I did all by lifting hard and cleaning up my diet too!

New Diet

First off - Big Thanks to Amy K for writing this up for me:)

Here’s the diet:

Meal 1 - 1 Cup oats w/flaxseed and 12 eggwhites.
Before you workout, take your thermogenic/fat burner and do 30 minutes cardio as well.
Meal 2 - 2 scoops protein
Post-workout
Meal 3 - 10 oz Chicken and 8 oz sweet potato
Meal 4 - 10 oz Fish or Turkey and 2 cups Broccoli or Asparagus
Meal 5 - 10 oz Fish and 2 cups Brocolli and 1/2 cup br. rice
Meal 6 - 5 oz lean steak and 6 eggwhites. before bed….
It’s not easy to follow by a long shot.  It’s a whole lot of eggs haha, and meals 3,4 & 5 are bear to take down due to high volume of protein.  This diet has also somewhat pulled took away my supplement cruches and forced to get my nutrients through “real” food.  I am still using Casein here and there at night though, and torrent PWO as well as a few other things not relating to calories. 
Thus far, I have been able to get my BF% down to 9.34 with a LBM of appx 191.  With my new diet plan though, I believe I will be able to get my BF down to 7%, hopefully by March 28th.  I have also upped my cardio level from 15 minutes a day to 45 and increased my ab training volume exponentially!  I am already noticing some great recomp effects and look forward to the seeing what the next 6 weeks reveal!

Cutting/arm size

Well I have been cutting for close to a month now and have lost 17 lbs.  I can’t say I have been enjoying it but I am def starting to see some results!  I also taped my arms today!  After losing that much weight, you think they would have shrunk up, but NO!  The are still the same size so im pretty happy!

More Incline PRESS!

I just love it!  Word up to all you incline press lovers out there!  I hit it up again today and got str8 jacked!  My last two sets were 225×10 and the last one was a drop set to 135×10!  Awww yeah baby - love me a good chest PUMP!

Incline Press

So I finally feel like I am getting back to my pre college-grad self in gym after today’s workout.  I worked my way up to 225×10 on incline press for my 6th set.  I have to say I felt pretty good about that because I was feeling like absolute doo-doo this morning and hardly got any sleep last night.  Today’s workout was a 20 pound increase over last week’s even while I was sick!  I am definitely excited to see where I can go with this strength wise in the new year!

Well, I am on day ten of my Omnevol cylce and I have packed on 12 pounds with it so far!  Since I have put on so much wieght lately, I thought it might be a good idea to get my bodyfat done to get a better idea of how my composition is changing.  So the last time I had my body fat done, I was at 13.9%, and I weighed 203 - not bad.  Since then, I have bulked up to 219, a gain of 16 pounds over 36 days.  Well my bodyfat went down to 13.5%!!!  I am definetly happy with my progress and look forward to seeing how big I can get by New Years!  Well good day all - best of luck with your training!  ~Jackson~

I didnt wanna, but I did!

So I finally got my body fat measured today at Gold’s!  It’s pretty much right around what I figured it would be - 13.9 %.   The trainer told me I need to get down to about 10 or so if I wanna get those abs show’n!  Not sure if I wanna go that route just yet though.  I think I’m just gonna bulk for the next couple months at least.  For that matter, I dont care if I bulk ALL winter, I’ll be just like a big gizzly bear and maybe start cut’n around late February when i come out of hibernation lol.  Well, tomorrow is the Atmosphere concert and I gots the whole day off - word uP!  Have a great day peeps ~Jack~

Well, it’s friday, I’ve been sick all week…I think finally have it whooped though - for the most part.  I hit chest today and weighed at 200!!! Whoa - where the heck is this weight coming from??  I know haven’t been lifting steady for 4 months until this past week, but damn!  It feels good though, Still really looking forward to next and anticipating what cummalitive results will be over the next 3 weeks.  After a full month back in the gym, I think i will finally be back on the road to feeling at home in the gym.  Dont get me wrong, I still feel very comfortable there, it just takes some getn used to in order to truly get back into the swing of things.  Well, have a great weekend everyone!  See ya in the gym on Monday:)

feeln a little better

Well, this morning when I woke up I could tell I am finally on the downhill side of this headcold.  I felt all-around better in the gym this morning as well, I hit shoulders and was able to turn up the intensity a little bit which felt really good.  Can’t wait till’ niext week when Im fully recovered and able to really get NASTY!  Peace OUT!   Jammin JACK!

I hate being sick!

So yeah, all that boozing last week with my Bro was great but now Im paying the price.  Im pretty sure I got sick due to the weakening of my immune system from all the drinking.  This week in the gym I have been feeling like crap with a nasty head cold.  I can’t wait to shake this thing loose.  Hoepfully I’ll have the discipline to rest up over the weekend:)
