My third show is this upcoming weekend. I’m feeling worst than I did last year since I lost weight, but I’m stronger than I was. I don’t understand. I’m trying not to push myself since I need my muscle to recover, but I can’t stop myself when I’m in the gym. I want this so bad I can taste it, but this year, I’m in the open not novice. I need to bring my A game but I don’t think I did. Trust me, I will give it my all. I think the move to Washington did take a big part of that, since I don’t feel as motivated as I did in Sacramento. I’m doing 30 minutes of cardio and two execisies prior muscle group (about 1/2 of what I normal lift). But like R Kelly says, MY MIND IS TELLING NO BUT ME BODY IS SAYING YES.

I have been pushing myself to gain more size since my last show. I have seen some inprovements but not what I was expecting. I’m currently 162 (last 2 lbs from NOV 07) but I’m stronger than I was then. I’m eating like crazy to the point I start to feel sick. I workout 6 days a week, only giving 3 to 4 days of rest between muscle groups. I need to start my dieting 1 May for the 12 July show. Are there any suggests out there that my can help me gain about 5 to 8 more lbs?

Well, it’s three more days before the show. I hit the gym hard on Mon, Tue and Wed. My plan is to do cardio and steam room today (Thur) with a light workout for all upper body muscle groups. Friday will be nothing be relaxing and putting on the first two coats of tining. I believe I’m ready. I’m looking forward to this show, because I do not know what to expect, NPC show in all. I hope I give them hell up there.

I’m trying to stay motivated and prepare for the next show. I’m not seeing any improvements from the first show. I know I can not win them all but I would like to be in the best condition as possible. My friend that trains with me, say I’m looking great. I just don’t feel that why. How do you prepare for somethings you have never took part of. My first NPC show, can I really be competitive against these guys. One day I’m motivated and ready to go, and the next the opposite feeling. I know I put more pressure on myself, but is it bad to feel that I do not want to get my feelings hard. If you know what I mean. Motivation have to be the key to my success since the show is about 4 weeks out. I will improve and give those guys a ran for they money.

Well, I can’t remember the last 4th of July with my family. Being in the military, we have to make sacifies that most American’s are never placed. So, to all the American Soldiers stationed around the world, I’m with you in heart and spirit. To everyone else, I hope you enjoyed the 4th of July holiday and what it means to be living a country that is free.

Well, I’m finally here, my first show. I don’t know what to expect and maybe I’m my worst critic. I started my tanning, and I realize it not for me, but I will continue to do them. I have lost 5 lbs trying to diet and was told I lost some of my size. I’m starting to realize how difficult this really is. Hopefully I will start to see some more changes but if you are already lean, what else can I do. I get comments that you are ready and continue what you’re doing. While, in my mind, I want to get bigger and more cut. I’m my worst critic.
