Well not really, but i realized that after i posted my blog i didn’t even mention what i was doing.
I tend to procrastinate when I don’t know "the routine" i’m going to be doing at the gym is by saying, well i have to figure what’s my goal, what i want to work out, how many sets, etc. So sometimes the easiest thing for me to do is to just do whatever workout that appeals to me that’s in my muscle & fitness mag. I swear i feel like a moving advertisement with how much i love that magazine. Hmm…. maybe i can get them to sponsor my wedding… but then i’ll have to get the man to workout too, ooh and maybe even my maid of honor. Ooh we’d call ourselves "Team Hottness" … Niiice… =D
And all dorkiness aside, the workout that i’m doing now is mon-fri with wed and weekends off. I generally do about 20 min of moderate cardio first and then on Mon & Thurs I do back 2 wkouts for 3 sets of 12, bi’s 2 wkouts for 3 sets of 12, quads 2 wkouts for 3 sets of 12, hams 1 wkouts for 3 sets of 12, calves 1 wkouts for 3 sets of 12. Tue & Friday I do chest 2 wkouts for 3 sets of 12, shoulders 2 wkouts for 3 sets of 12, tri’s 2 wkouts for 3 sets of 12 and abs 1 wkouts for 3 sets of 20. And so far the arms are lookin good, shoulders are awesome as usual, I’ve lost an inch on my waist, calves are gettin a bit cut up and I can see some impressive thigh muscle. I was actually very surprised to see that.
On previous workout routines I do intervals on the treadmill or jump rope and have 2 sets of abs one being a weighted crunch on a ball and by this late in the game, I look very athletic, the abs are tight, and my clothes fit really loose. But now since I’ve gone easy on the cardio, and just do the recommended sets for abs I’ve still have this lil bit of fat on my obliques. How bad is it? I’m not sure of it yet to be honest. I like my curves, what little i do have, and since i’m not busty I don’t want to lean out too much and look like a H.S. boy. The good news is that the cardio that I have been doing has given me nicer legs. I read in M&F that using a stationary bike for cardio increases leg mass and i ‘m pretty sure that the reason i’m seeing that thigh muscle pop is because i added that to my routine.
I hate changin things up mid game but i’m thinking I’m going to start including a couple more sets for abs and take it from there. I didn’t want to before cuz i didn’t what to over do it and have such high expectations that stress myself out on not getting what i want. This time i’m just doing it for the sake of doing it. Now, I like my routine especially since it gets the job done and i’m in and out in an hour. but my abs are like my pride n joy. they have to be tight. The only way I know that I’ve slacked off for too long is when "i can feel myself touch myself." If i’m sitting down and i feel even a slight roll… ugh it freaks me out. Thus far i’m good…

So I’m totally diggin working out in the mornings. I REstarted about 5 weeks ago monday and at first I just got up early enough before work and worked out at home. I wanted to do 3 times a week and did more like twice a week instead for 2 weeks. "The Usual" didn’t seem like enough so then i told myself that I need to be able to do more and i need more options so started going back to my gym. I started to get up with my boyfriend cuz i knew that once school started, especially with my early morn class 3x’s a week i really have to adjust. At first not so bad, it actually only seemed difficult because he (Jesse) had the habit of getting up early, showering, doing all that jazz and then cuddlin up for like 15 min before goin to work. It was cute and annoying at the same time (being that i didn’t have to wake up till an hour an a half later to be woken up really early..well you get me). But now…I’m so used to getting up early for the gym that I get anxious on my rest days on wednesdays. The weekends aren’t so bad cuz i feel like I deserve it then but during the week i’m soo pumped to get things done -the gym, get my hair done bla blah blah. But ooh… i actually was up at 6(:15 =D) this mornin and I liked it. Now it’s just a matter of gettin used to leaving Jess behind in the morning instead of vice versa… Oh well it’s cool either way. I wanted to post up pictures of my progress but my friend has had my camera for like 3 weeks now. I had taken "before" pictures too, but when I was going to show her the wedding gown i was considering i was like I don’t want her to see these and deleted them like a twit only to realize afterwards, "idiot the whole world’s gonna see it what would it matter?!" Dork…
*le sigh*
I have homework to do… I hope my workouts and school don’t end up interfering with one another.

Uh, it’s the Me! So first body blog thingy. Very interesting but i’m going to keep it sweet and to the point. I don’t have time. And what little time i do have I try to fit in as much as possible in it. But I’m doing this body blog not for others but for myself. I’m not perfect but i’ll will try to get there. But I know I"ll never be perfect, but isnt it better to try to be better than what you are today?
So I stopped, "I’m gonna, I will, tomorrow will be the day." and I started now. I normally don’t wake up early enough to workout and i did. I just did. and now 2 1/2 hours later i’m amazed that i did it. I took my first, figure pic. Yeah so you can’t see the fine detailing but I hate to say it that it’s more for me than anyone else. Plus, it gave me a great idea for my final project for my art class.
Today was leg day. And after a month’s hiatus (BZ! Midterms, midterm projects, wk, and then i got engaged and that weekend set me Way back) boy was i strugglin. I’m gonna feel it tomorrow though. But I’m so glad i took the time to write up my routine on index cards with my home gym routine and gym routine (that involve machines) so there’s no excuses and less thinking about what excercise replaces that excercise.
Like the song goes, "make yourself."
