“If you fail to plan, plan to fail”Whoever said this said a mouthfull. This wonderful quote got me thinking. What is one of my weakest attributes. Procrastination.Why do I procrastinate? Because I am not PREPARED!!!
Some of you may be saying “Duh” at this point but I’ve just had an “Aha!” moment.My grocery list is in order,my menus have been well thought out and planned and this afternoon I’ll cook enough of my meals to last me through Wed.My main focus with my meal planning isn’t counting calories but getting my portions under control and cutting the crap out of my diet.I know it will take time and commitment to see changes in my body so I’m shifting my focus and looking forward to seeing changes in my energy levels throughout the day.I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend.

Hello to all and welcome to my body blog! My name is Jackie. I am a married mother of one and an aspiring personal trainer and figure competitor. But first things first. Getting in shape! I LOVE to exercise. It’s my "me" time. (Ladies you know what I’m talking about) My workouts usually start at 5:30am. Many have asked me why so early? To wake up and get your muscles working,heart pumping and fresh blood and oxygen to your brain it’s a great way to start the day. Better than coffee if you ask me! By the time I get home I’m revitalized, my mind is acute, my priorities in order and I’m ready to tackle what ever the day (or my 2 yr. old) throws at me.

So, by now you may be wondering why I’m out of shape? Inconsistancy when it comes to eating clean. Let’s face it 23 yrs. of bad eating habits isn’t going to disappear over night. And you can’t (well some of you can, and bless your hearts for it)exactly go from eating a Whopper to Quinoa and berries. I’ve tried it and cold turkey isn’t the best way for me. (You live and you learn right?) So I’m off to find interesting healthy recipes. Who knows, a little patience and creativity and maybe I’ll make something yummy. Any comments and suggestions are more than welcome. Trust me, you won’t be wasting your breath as I make it a point to take all advise into consideration and then into ACTION!!I look forward to getting to know you! Have a blessed Tuesday!

P.S. Starting photos and stats should be up by the end of this week!
