When it Comes Down to it, it’s all Diet, Diet, Diet…
August 6, 2008I eat pretty clean as is. I’ve got a shoot to clean up for on Saturday. I’m eating really low carb/low sodium foods. Carbs between 30-40 grams a day, sodium between 400-500 mg, 1-2 gallons of water. Tons of protein, about 140 grams a day, veggies galore, chicken, tilapia, mahi mahi, almonds sparingly, salads, egg whites….
So far I’ve dropped about 5lbs of water weight, looking much more ripped
Also talking Xpel, it’s working great too!
So I’ve been reading tonsssss of different sites for "cutting advice." I know the low carbs will empty my glyogen stores, ridding up any excess H2O. But what to do right before the pics to perk my muscles up a bit? The advice from one of the sites says to increase carbs the day prior, eating a small serving every 2 and a half hours, something like a sweet potato/yam. While doing this decreasing water intake, only sipping throughout the day.
I’m still doing my weights, cardio too, just walking briskly for 30 mins to avoid muscle breakdown.
So far, so good!
Any advice out there???
I’m all ears, and it’s very appreciated!
