Working more dilligently then ever to prepare for this weekends upcoming cover shoot. Water is on point roughly 2gallons today, with 1cup of oats for total carbs per day. No longer do I believe it is best go completely no carb for a couple days when preparing for a photoshoot.
Carbohydrates will stay very low all week until Friday, when I will eat 150g of carbs over 3 meals. Then will transition Friday into eating carbs with every meal on Sat, to peak out full and ripped to the bone on Sunday!
Eight weeks into a flawless cutting diet, and I have never felt better. Workouts have been on point with weight training at 2pm and cardio at 8pm for past 4 weeks straight. Transitioned from power-lifting workouts to a modified FST-7 workout with HIIT cardio.
Touching back on some classic posing techniques, realizing the true power of the vacum pose, and other old school physique poses that I really want to see on the muscle mags of today. Could stand to practice every day this week as I have been too busy working to get in posing time.
In way of nutrition I will stick with chicken, eggs, oats, salmon, sweet potato, and asaragus with very low sodium as the only foods I eat for the remainder of the week. As for water intake it will be 2.5 gallons wed, 2gallons thurs, 1 gallon friday, 1/2-1 gallon Saturday, Sunday, bone dry. Shooting both Sat and Sun, so if I am feeling a lil flat on Sat while shooting, I will have no problem drinking more water or eating more carbs then planned, as I always trust my instincts.
For anyone who is about to do a photoshoot, I have seen people working out the night before the photoshoot, wrapping themselves in plastic wrap, loading massive amounts of sodium, and every other crazy prep story in the book. Don't believe any of that bull****, If you are not ready a few days out, then you are just not ready. And DO NOT train the day before your shoot, just rest and get plenty of sleep, this recovery time will help you look and feel as good as possible when its time to showing all of your hard work!
