strength gain

On Thursday I had my heavy chest day and i decided to throw a little more weight than usual on my last 2 sets.  i wanted to hit 5 reps on those last 2 with 300lbs.  i ended up hitting 6 reps by my self on 1 set and 6 with a light tap by my spotter on the 2nd.  after doing that i now know that i have gained some strength on my bench and that really pumped me up big time and having guys that are like 2 times my size telling me great job is also great motivation since i am 169lbs and can rep that weight like that.  i am now going to add 5-10lbs to my chest workouts now.

3lb lean muscle gain

I dropped down to 8% BF and gained 3 lbs of lean muscle.  That is great and the weight gain is also benefiting me on my bench cause i have also noticed a nice little strength increase.   I will be maxing out on the bench soon to see how much progress i have made on my 400lbs bench max goal.  A 10lb increase at least would be nice.
