400 lb bench goal

today i worked out my chest and i did some power reps with 300lbs and i must say that it was way harder than usual.  losing weight is really making things difficult and has me thinking that i  might  not be able to reach that goal but i always tell myself failure is not an option.  should i maybe lower it for smaller goals till i get there or leave it and work my butt to see if i do make it my B-day?

ab question

my stomach is smooth with a mild tone to it (you can see from my pics)  but i want my abs to have a little more pop to them.  when i work out my abs i just do my bodyweight.  should i use some light weight to add a little resistance to the workouts?

It did not happen

well when i walked into the gym i was energized and ready to max out.  i did a little jump rope to get my blood flow up then went to the bench and did a warm up rep then put the big 340 on there.  i got it up half way and held it there for like 3 seconds but it was to much for me.  i gave myself a 5 min rest then put 330 on the bar to see if i could still hit that.  well i did get it up there so at least my strength is still there and i did not feel bad at all.  the weight loss is a big factor against me.  after my work out i went and did 3 rounds at 3min a boxer that was in there.

Will it happen

tomorrow i am going to put 340lbs on the bench press and see if i have moved up in weight.  its going to be difficult with the weight that i have lost.  i already feel good about being a percent away from single digit body fat and if i get the 340lbs or maybe a little more then i will be very proud of myself.

All most to goal #1

I am now at 10.7% body fat.  I will be in the single digits within 2 weeks for sure.  Then from their is gonna be the really hard one and thats getting my bench max up to 400lbs.

getting closer to 1 of my goals

Today i weighed in at 173.5 and i dropped my body fat down to 11.1%.  I am getting closer to the single digits but my bench strength is getting very difficult to keep up.

new arm work out

today i did my arms and i did 2 new work outs that felt really good.  1 was called 21’s and other is not a new work out to other people maybe but for me it is cause i never did it.  On the 21’s i used the curl bar and i put a 10lb weight on each side.  By the second set my biceps were burning like hell.  I will give it 1 month then check for changes in size and definition.  If you want me to tell you how the 21’s go just hit me up with a message.

I am losing body fat but at the same time i am losing weight and i don’t want to lose that much cause i want my strength.  Today it was a little difficult to rep 315 on my heavy set of 2×2.  I had one of the personal trainers tell me that 315 twice for somebody that is 175lbs is great.  That also is gonna mess with my fight weight class.  Well i guess if my body fat percent drops then so will my weight but i will just have to rep a little heavier weight.  So if anybody has any advice i could sure use it.
