Started off as a shoulders day…..but….

I made it to the gym today after working 36 hours in 2 days.  My plan was to hit my shoulders, but halfway into my routine, I decided to transition to a chest day.  I was feeling strong.  That really doesnt always translate into a good lifting day though.  Last time I felt strong, I decided not to warm up and almost ripped my shoulder out of my socket trying to show off.  That landed me in 3 months of PT; however today was different.

After a solid warm up, I moved to the Hammer Strenght machine for some decline chest work.  380 lbs later I was still pumping out 5 reps with wide grip pull ups in between sets to help strectch me out.  Awesome day at the gym until I made it back home and my best friend and his wife invited me over for dinner……DAMN THAT BAKED ZITI……it was so good…..but I did pass on the bread..lol..not like it really made a difference at that point. lol

Overall, it has been a good day….Now I am back at work, burning the overnight hours with only URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS to report in our ER tonight.  Its pretty boring.

jay jern out!

I’ve done that some many times. What was supposed to be a chest day turns into shoulders for me. I love to work my shoulders the most.
