what’s more impressive, seeing someone bench alot of weight 1-3times (315lbs). or seeing a little guy rep em out like crazy 15 + times(225lbs)

When you are in the gym and you see someone pushing up 3, 45 lb plates on each site two or three times it pretty impressive. Seeing someone hitting 225 lbs 15 is not as jaw dropping even though you know that if they can lift that 15 time they have to be able to hit 325 lbs at least once. I not a huge guy but when I load up the bar with over 300 lbs and have my 125 lb wife spotting me and I hit it people are looking. When I lift just to do my workouts I use 225 for 8 to 12 reps and nobody is looking then

I would like to be in the 315 for 15 rep category myself!
When I bench all of my sets start as 10 reps, then I just keep going up till one is all I can do. If I get to the top and don’t feel I have done enough, I go through it again.
It is surprising how often I can come within 20 lbs of the max again. And I seem to slowly and steadily be gaining with it, but benching was never my strong point.
