I have spent the last few weeks slacking off– barely getting to the gym 3 days a week. BUT in the time that I did put in, it was serious. I worked for size, ate for size and got size, but I added too much fat too. I have found a new idea– alternate big muscle exercises with shredding techniques. I still think that the Muscle and Fitness article: U.L.T.R.A. was prob the best total workout, diet, and supplement scheme ever put to print. It was a full year workout– and yes- I still have the hardcopy version. So, if this present idea doesnt work– I will be pulling out the U.L.T.R.A

I took my measurements for the mid of January (y’know after all of the holiday food had been digested) and then again for the month of Feb– and there IS progress. As always, Im willing to accept all and any kudos of motivation. Im sure many of you know– its nice to hear "youre looking better" from the people around you. But its a major asskick when its from those who are sweating at the gym>

Its time for us to start those new workouts. While my primary goal is to lose bodyfat, this time of year– since we arent out at the beach or pool, this is where I work for size. BIG WEIGHTS, BIG strength exercises to gain that size. What Im hoping for from my BodyBuilding.com friends– is a little extra push of encouragement. Trust me, it dont get easier to keep up motivation once youre 40+ and STILL fighting fat!
