Happy 4th!

Thursday, July 3rd, 2008

Hey everyone, been a long time since I posted a blog here.  Hope everyone is doing fine and sorry if I can’t get to posting comments for everyone.  Any exciting plans?  I won’t be doing too spectactular.  I will be with my Mom and her husband and going to BBQ at their friends place.  Hopefully weather will be decent and I can eat some good food.  I love my hotdogs and beef! :P

Training is going well.  I have been working out 5x a week now M-F, one body part per day.  Each week I change the pattern so my body doesn’t get used to the usual routine.  I also do my elliptical for cardio after my lifts.  I started at 15min for 2 weeks and every 2 weeks I increase cardio time by 5 min.  I am now at 30 min.  I will go up to 45 min. at the most but that should be good enough.

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy 4th and please be safe and use fireworks with safety!  I hope to hear from many more of you all in the future!

 Take care!

Happy St. Patties Day!

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

Hope you all had a fun St. Patties Day, since I am Italian I don’t celebrate that, LOL.  NO offense to you all of course, just never got into that, maybe next year.  In Chicago they have a huge parade and color the lake Green, everyone gets drunk starting in the morning.  Love Irish pubs, haha.  Anyhow training is going well.  I finally fixed the foods that I like and I didn’t realize that beef patties were so high in calories until I looked yesterday, one beef patty has 350 Calories!! But 0 carbs.  So dunno about that, I only need one anyhow.  Spring is here and time for us all to get on track to be ready for the beach.  I think I am already set for that though ;)

 Take care all!

Happy Leap Day!

Friday, February 29th, 2008

Yes, its a leap day, yay!  LOL.  Hope everyone has been doing well, sorry for not writing another blog in 2 weeks, got over my Valentine’s Blunder and now I am feeling better physically.  I was sick for a few days so my traiining had to be put to a halt so I could be in bed to sleep and rest.  Starting to feel better and come Monday I am back to my training and diet.  Been eating like a little piggy!  HAHA.  Why is it so hard to eat right?  I love my pizza!

Anyhow take care everyone and look forward to your messages and comments :)

Happy Valentine’s Day

Friday, February 15th, 2008

Hey all, I hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day with someone special, as myself, being single didn’t have anyone special to be with, I just worked and worked out and that was my wonderful evening. The special someone I thought would have at least acknowledged the day and try to come out to take me out for a dinner or even a simple thing, didn’t even call me or nothing.  Oh well, just frustrated today.  Training is good though.  Anyone have suggestions for meal replacement shakes that are low carb?

Another Week Gone By

Friday, January 18th, 2008

Hey all, another week has gone by and I worked out hard this week, got my diet in order and I feel good :)

Just another boring day at work again, I can’t wait to leave!  BTW, I am having some DVD player issues if anyone wishes to contact me Private Message me, I need help!

TGIF!

Friday, January 11th, 2008

OK its Friday and I been lazy a bit.  Today I head to Costco and get all the healthy foods to stock up for the month or so, haha.  One of the reasons why I love Costco is buying by the bulk.  Oh yea, I did want some good recommendations on protein shakes?  Preferably low carb and not high in calories or sugars either.  That would be great to see what you all suggest.  Anyhow I am at work bored, feel free to send a message my way :)

A New Year Begins

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

Hey folks, so a New Year has begun and I am sure we all have made those New Year’s Resolutions to loose the fat, build the muscle, blah blah blah, you know what I mean…..I have always been a believer of not talking the talk but also walking the walk.  Many of us make the resolutions for a transformation in our body and accomplish our goals but the fact is its not going to happen by just telling everyone and then not doing it.  So my journey begins with a new year to try to loose some of that holiday fat from Thanksgiving and Christmas, LOL, which is not much but hey we all can put on an average of about 5-10pds during the holiday.  I am currently in a debacle of trying to do cardio in the morning and weights at night or vice-versa, I just hate the fact of getting up early, I am not a morning person but I don’t like to take so long on doing a workout either you know?  Anyways I know I posted this in a thread already but if you have any good methods let me know and I am open to suggestions.  Starting Monday I am going on my "healthy eating" plan again of veggies, chicken breasts, lean meats and of course protein shakes!
