Accomplished!

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

So I just wanted to let everyone know today i feel very accomplished.  I triumphed in going 3 miles on the treadmil ( fat burner routine) and another 2 miles on the Elipitcal (alpine cross-trainer routine). All-in-all, I burnned #1,342 Calories & I feel great! 

 My total Caloric in-take today was at 2,615, subtract my Daily Basal Metabolic Rate of -2,395 and My total "TRUE" Caloric in-take was 220 Claories; now minus that from my Caloric burn of #1,342, and my Total Daily Caloric Burn for today was ### 1,122!!  As the song goes " I feel good, dunah, dunah, dunah, dut! Oh yea, Oh yea, how about yoooou?"  LOL. Alright well I’m off to catch some REM sleep before heading to work tonight. Hope everyone has a great weekend. BLOG @ ya later! BEST OF LIFE -JASE!

REM it up!!

In working a bizzare third shift schedule, it is tough for me to have a regular workout shift.  I have found though that you must first get the rest that your body needs, before you can put it through hell- in the goal of getting in the best shape possible.  I work 11 or 12 hour shifts, from 8pm till 7am; so as you can see its a little different, instead of the regular 11pm-7am.  The hardest part though is the transitioning from my work schedule to my days off.  Today is my first day of a four day stretch off.  I wanted so badly to go and workout this morning, but the bags pulling my eyes down were telling me different!  I slept from 10am till 6pm; a total of eight hours; which obviously is what my body needed the most.  Now as I set here and let my fat burner kick into gear for the thirty minute duration it has to take- I wait in ancticipation for the gym-now feeling re-energized and ready to go full throttle!  Well I need to grab my iPod and get my gym bag together; double checking that I have everything.  I hope everyone is doing their best in finding the time to REST and allow all that hard work to go too work for your body as you lay in REM sleep!  REM it up baby! hehe….PEACE! BEST OF LIFE -JASE!

Progress!

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

So I am getting ready to head the gym and do some cardio as well as hit the core.  I weighed myself today and I am now down to 232.5 lbs and have a body fat percentage of 29.5.  It is so cool that I am getting closer to my goal.  I hope everyone is having a great time with their own endeavors on getting fit, and becoming healthier.
