Ok, so I have 23 days left before November 2nd. My goal by that day is to weigh in at 249. When I accomplish this, I will have a 16lbs weight loss!! To better improve the odds of me reaching this I am cutting the complexed whole wheat out of my diet. I’m going to strictly just do complexed green beans, beans, and other green-ish veggies. Time to really cut the carbs out of the diet, to feed my body the protein required to burn off this extra storage of ADIPOS tissue :-p. Take care everyone, and as always- BEST OF LIFE!

Hey people!
So today was a good cardio workout! I did the Eliptical for 45 minutes, and then the Stepper for 10 minutes and Bicycled for 15 minutes. All-in-all; 1,200 calories BURNED!! Thats almost 1 lb of fat burned. Pretty cool right? I think so . A little bit of good and bad happened too.
The good news first. The gym owner of Nautilus came up to me and wants to take a picture of me-which may be used for advertising his gym in the local news-paper. That was realy up-lifting! I take the picture tomorrow.
The bad news, which isn’t really that bad. As I was getting ready to leave the gym, I left my keys in my car LOCKED! Thank God for road-side assistance. They were there in like 10 minutes and fixed the problem. So-that was cool! Well definitely have to shave and look good for the pic tomorrow. It’s good he’s taking a pic now, because I’m definitely going to look different by May 30, 2008!!! Great PR for his Gym too! Well- hope "all" is going well with everyone. Take care and BEST OF LIFE! -Jason

Ok you fitness goo-roos! I am happy to say that I’ve posted my stregnth training stats. As you can see, I’m making some NICE progress. It feels good, actually sticking to the regimen and seeing a 5-10 pound gain, week-by-week. I really am liking this Nautilus program. Write now I’m sitting down to a good old plate of skinless chicken breast, with Mustard! ‘yummy’! Which I’m going to compliment with a 1/2 piece of grape fruit. I really believe that the GRAPE FRUIT plays a vital role in weight loss (check into it). Going to hit a late night of cardio later today-before I head to bed.
Got a good Monday workout today, but I need to re-focus better on my 1 second contraction when it comes to the Bicep Curls! Other then that, over-all good routine today. I’ll be posting some updated pictures soon. More then likely tomorrow. It is nice though, today walking into the gym; my trianer said. "You definitely been loosing weight and toning up". Very encouraging words and helps me move forward to the main goal, in loosing 70lbs by May 30th, 2008.
Take care guys and also to the ladys!
BEST OF LIFE!

Ok, so a long time ago I remember someone telling me if you can stick with something for at least 14 days- you’re odds of maintaining it are almost a 100%, since then it becomes habitual. I must say, after all of Sept. and now almost midway October; I’m a believer!!
I’m really looking forward to Monday’s workout and getting back on a 4 day vacation from WORK. Monday I start back on line ONE, which I really do like!! My Gym, Nautilus-has two lines (OR) Routine One and Routine Two. Then there is 3 steps.
The first step is Beginner, then there is Intermediate, and finally Advanced. Right now I’m going through the Intermediate level, and hope to reach the Advance level by February of 2008.
The focus of the workouts though is a max rep of 12 of one set. Once that is reached, you have to up 5-10lbs for the next time you hit that exercise. I really like it! Oh another aspect of this routine, is that there is a 2second contraction count and a 4 second release. I’ll have to admit when I first was introduced to it, I was very SKEPTICAL!
I mean come on, ONE SET OF 12REPS! I was used to doing 3 to 4 sets of 12-14. However if you look into the science of Nautlius and muscle gaining, the evidence is there; only doing 12reps of one set, and increase the weight 5-10 lbs-WORKS!
I think the Key is the 2sec / 4sec control rate too! I mean in the past I never would go that slow on the negative; its pretty tough too! I feel with this routine, although I am gaining in muscle I can really feel myself gaining in stregnth!!
Oh, another NOTE*; If I can’t get to a max of 12 reps, then I lower the weight by 10-15% and do another 4-6reps that do NOT count. These actually help for the next routine.
I’ll post my results so far with my routines soon, I just have to copy the chart from the gym. Take care everyone, and BEST OF LIFE!

Ok, so the only part that sucked with my AM workout, was waiting an extra hour after my shift, for the Gym to open. Once I got inside though and changed into my gym clothes/iPod was set on Metalica! I was ready to go, and had a good workout.
I was able to really push through, and give it my all. I even did 20 minutes of cardio, after my stregnth training routine. Once I got home, I hate a hand full of nutts, and had a 50g protein drink, with 0 sugars and 0 carbs. Then I went to bed about an hour and 1/2 later.
So far feel good, but starting to drag down right now. I have one more day on, and then 4 days off! Really looking forward to Monday’s workout. I’ll be posting my gains soon. Best of life everyone!

Ok, so I kind of overslept a little yesterday and wasn’t up in time to do my TOUGH FRIDAY workout!!! I mean I could have squeezed it in there, but I would have had to rush it, or even worse not do all of the routine. Friday’s workout is the toughest too!! So I definitely don’t want to mess it up! So I rationalized, and figure I will hold off and do it after my 11 hour shift! The routine only takes about 30-40 minutes. So I should be able to get in there by 8am, and out just before 9am, and in bed by 10am! lol… at least thats the plan! Definitely "NOTE" to self- start going straight to bed when working a 3rd shift! I’ll post later today how it went. BEST OF LIFE-JASON

Ok, so doing cardio in the AM before i go to bed, I think was a BAD idea! First it just made me kind of wired and very hard to fall a sleep later in the day. I think what I’ll do is try to amp up the cardio in the afternoon before heading to work. Try and do a morning-home seesion; then one at the gym before starting my shift. BEST OF LIFE ! -JASON

Alright so I have made it through one month’s journey in my new body transformation. I can really tell that changes are being made. I feel a lot better, and have been getting much better sleep; in maintaining my routine regimine and healthier eating.
For the first month of September I only weighed myself ONCE and that was at 265 lbs. I just got off the scale a few minutes ago and I’m happy to say that I am now down to 259 lbs. That’s a total of 6 lbs lost! So on average from Sept. 3rd being my starting day; I lost around an average of close to 2 lbs per week; which by the way guys/gals is the HEALTHY way in doing it!
Another thing I want to enclose here I have only been drinking water from the get go of this transformation and WOW can I tell a difference not only in how I feel, but also in my skin. Also taking Niacin 4x a day with 4 of my 5 to 6 meals. Each pill of niacin is only 100mg. I’m also taking Chromium one time a day with my breakfast, which is included in a multi-vitamin!
So my next weigh in will be next Tuesday, October 9th, 2007 at around 6AM. I’m really going to BRING IT NOW!! Gotta increase the CARDIO OUTPUT and DECREASE THE Sugar/Carbohydrates!
BEST OF LIFE EVERYONE! KEEP IN TOUCH!!
