I’ve decided that until I get my workout plan from Steve, I’m going to return to my original cardio outline in the interim. It doesn’t make sense for me to continue if my weight training is going to change by the end of this week. Plus, I was incredibly focused when I was just doing cardio so it will be a good transition focus-wise when I return to weight training later this week or this time next week. So it’ll be back to 30 mins treadmill work in AM and 20 minutes of speed rope work in the PM.

Per my last post, I’ve chosen Steve Poynter as my PT. I’ve asked him to help me design a workout and meal plan. Pulling a plan from M&F and Men’s Workout is just not working for me. I need something personalized to help me drop this body fat and up my muscle mass.
I’m super pumped for this - its very motivational knowing that the work/energy I’ll be putting into this plan will get me results.

After a long exhaustive search, I think I’ve finally found the online trainer that fits my particular needs, which were:
- A PT who could help me lose weight
- A PT that will help me regain muscle
- A PT with a good experience that I can trust is knowlegable
- A PT who clearly takes his own physique into peak conditioning
- A PT who is affordable.
I’ll get into the specifics of whom I chose this weekend. He’s also right here on BS with a very loyal following.

I’ve missed three days of workouts, and have been feeling seriously grossed out and down about it. But after watching this video, I feel reinvigored. The dude loss A TON of weight - about 400 lbs in the past two years. If he can do that, i can certainly stick with it.
I’ll be going in tonight to start my weight-lifting program - and will be back tomorrow to do my twice a day routine.

Zoinks. Long time, no write, right? (look - a pun. har…har?). Anyway, I stopped working out because I got lazy, quite frankly. And after spending the past summmer hiding inside, I want to get back in shape by next summer. I’m only doing cardio right now, but will phase in weight-training very soon.
Within the week, I’ll have something more substantial to post about (ie, stats, etc.) including pix showcasing my fatness. Some self humiliation might be the needed thing to keep me goin’.

i’m out of pocket starting this tuesday thru the end of the week (and therefore won’t be on bodyspace for most of the week): business conference in orlando. on one hand, its florida so "me + sun - chicago weather = good times". on the other hand, i’ll need to be extra vigilent to ensure i continue to work out and such. thankfully, the hotel has a gym (whether its decent is another question altogether). but i plan on packing a whole bunch of protein bars to use to meal subs. also, hotel-based push ups/sit-ups are my friends - so i really have no excuse.
if i come back with weight gain i’ll be so f’ing pissed with myself.
NOTE: in two weekends i’ll be posting my monthly progress pix. i figured if i shame myself enough on here with my fatty mcfat pix then it will make me work harder to look better.
later folks.

awesome news: i lost another 5 pounds. which means i’ve lost 10 pounds in three weeks.
when i first started working out again (but before joining bodyspace) in feb i weighed in at 215. i was at 210 when i set up my BS profile. so per my profile stats, it only seems like i lost only the five. i’m super thrilled right now - all this cardio/dieting i’m doing is finally starting to (slowly) pay off.
UPDATE: within a day I’ve fluctuated back up to 210. which…huh? literally the past three days i was at 205. and now…this. and although what i’ve eaten today is different from my regular diet, all i’ve had was a bowel of smartstart and a banana.
