Is this child healthy or too muscular?
: May 21, 2012, 11:24AM
9 Sweet Recipes For Summer Abs:
May 21, 2012, 11:36AM
too muscular. his body fat is way too low, especially for a child is age. that can seriously mess up his development, since fat is needed to make hormones. his growth and physical development can all be thrown off.
May 21, 2012, 11:38AM
omg,too soon to b muscular in this age...r u crazy???
May 21, 2012, 11:44AM
He's not big enough
May 21, 2012, 11:45AM
I hope he doesnt take roids.
May 21, 2012, 11:47AM
Aside from to low body fat, his joints are suffering. Which means that in his years of fast growth and development he is going to have issues with them, possibly reducing his overall tallness in the end.
May 21, 2012, 11:48AM
good job young one, and may the force be with you:)
May 21, 2012, 11:52AM
He probably has a myostatin disorder, it's not really harmful in any way it's just important he has an appropriate diet and regular control checks at the pediatrician..
May 21, 2012, 11:53AM
May 21, 2012, 11:58AM
ive heard about that disorder. pretty rare. lets just hope hes not on gear otherwise say bye bye to his growth plates
May 21, 2012, 11:58AM
go eat some ice cream you fucker
May 21, 2012, 11:59AM
you guys are RETARDED
May 21, 2012, 12:06PM
His name is Giuliano Stroe :)
May 21, 2012, 12:14PM
His dad puts steroids on his frosted flakes(:
May 21, 2012, 12:19PM
That's fuckin retarded!!! Geez, some people take it too far. Just like those women who put their kids in pageants ... People living through their kids. Sickening!
May 21, 2012, 12:20PM
Unhealthy for a young child. But , probably just as unhealthy as an obese child that is fed McDonald's everyday. Moderation parents!
May 21, 2012, 12:34PM
WTF dis is fake :P
May 21, 2012, 12:36PM
this real and watch on youtube
May 21, 2012, 12:41PM
looking awesome, keep it up young... brilliant!
May 21, 2012, 12:41PM
looking awesome, keep it up young... brilliant!
May 21, 2012, 12:42PM
Giuliano Stroe boy's name. ROMANIA His dad is the one that trains him. He takes nothing, and he does, apart from weigth training gimnastics. He eats whatever and plays...i wish my dad was like that!(I'm a female by the way). Fats, yes may be a small problem, but can be solved by eating more, with such a metabolism working for you at that age,it's awesome!!!
May 21, 2012, 12:43PM
There's not enough information to make a cogent argument for or against this level of conditioning ....
May 21, 2012, 12:44PM
i'm cogent that he is doing just fine!
May 21, 2012, 12:54PM
I'd say he's off to a great start. How many kids his age are suffering from diabetes or are so fat and of obese cause all they handle is a game controller and eat fast food. This kid is making and or is being influenced by healthier pursuits. Keep it up!!
May 21, 2012, 1:34PM
It's good that he have some hobby in he's life, but it's not healthy for such a young boy like him. Then he will grow up,he will be small ,and he's heart will be weaker.
May 21, 2012, 2:21PM
He is happy. Not forced. Eats healthy, lives a normal life. A lot better life for a kid than those obese kids sitting in front of the TV eating pizza and drinking soda
May 21, 2012, 3:31PM
Slap his ass!!
May 21, 2012, 3:45PM
his traps need work
May 21, 2012, 4:41PM
May 21, 2012, 4:45PM
growth hormone gut, already doing g4p
May 21, 2012, 4:46PM
Just to let you all know this guy has a rare genetic problem where he naturally has 40% more muscle mass than the normal human
May 21, 2012, 4:50PM
May 21, 2012, 4:51PM
he's fine, we're all used to seeing fat kids in his age range that we really don't know what healthy looking kids should look like - 100's - 1000's of years ago, his physique and athleticism at his age wouldn't be an issue, obese kids would be considered diseased and not normal. The kid is fine, the kid shown in the background of this pic also looks fine.
May 21, 2012, 4:51PM
A en margen de si es bueno o no el entrenamiento a esa edad esta el hecho de que es un niño que necesita jugar y hacer las cosas que hacen los niños y no una diciplinar culturista.
May 21, 2012, 5:20PM
this is not good for your future you have to wait for some years after 12-14 you can... think about it... little schwarzeneggar.
May 21, 2012, 5:35PM
wow, his parents should be shot he's way too young to lift
May 21, 2012, 5:59PM
that is just rediculous
May 21, 2012, 6:31PM
if that what the kid wants, then let him do it... whats w/ tall people if weak? i'd rather have average height and strong body that could broke the bones of tall people.
May 21, 2012, 6:31PM
New Breed.. All Good.
May 21, 2012, 6:38PM
The kid doesn't know whats good and whats bad for him. It's disgusting that the parents even allow this to happen.
May 21, 2012, 7:16PM
i dont suppose his parents are the ones behind this shit...iunno what the hell's gonna happen to this lil dude here but it aint gonna something good, ye'll see..
May 21, 2012, 11:36PM
Let the kid be a kid, if the parents want to mess with sh*t let them be the test dummies....loosers!!!
May 21, 2012, 11:46PM
he have a, god body, but the parents is stupid.
May 21, 2012, 11:55PM
his father is too slow in his brain
May 22, 2012, 1:22AM
The kid is cool with a great physique, I would say he is definitely healthy and this can only contribute to a healthy self-esteem and a fit and prosperous lifestyle.
May 22, 2012, 1:38AM
I knew a kid who was buff like that in the 3rd grade, 20yrs later he's barely taller than he was then.
May 22, 2012, 5:59AM
http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition/myostatin-related-muscle-hypertrophy The kid probably has a genetic condition which inhibits production of myostatin, so his muscles grow faster and larger than most people's.
May 22, 2012, 9:46AM
If not done excessively and the kid is liking it (not forced) , training at this age is great, this is the time the body is most adaptable, it will naturally adapt to the demands. Just look at the farmer boys that were at school, those who were working hard at the farm while young, they were often the strongest in the school. Bone density, cartilages, muscle fibers... everything can take a benefit from this. You just send a signal to your body that you need it and it will adapt to what you need it for, by making it stronger. Most American child, watch TV, play video games, eat junk food and most people are ok with that... what signal and what is the adaptation your body will make to that ? You just send a signal to your body : I don't really need you that much...

May 22, 2012, 4:08PM
Reminds me of Richard Sandrak < He turned out ok so... I dunno... I Just hope he isnt illegally supplimenting his body thats all...
May 22, 2012, 4:12PM
if im not mistaken, this kids dad has him and his brother on a workout regimen. They can do things ive seen gymnast at their best do. if their doctors dont find anything wrong them as a result of their workout, let it be. Rather them look like this than over weight.
May 22, 2012, 4:24PM
May 22, 2012, 4:25PM
lol @ the guy who said a moystatin disorder isnt harmful... myostatin disorders shave decades off a humans life... their expected life length is like 20 years below an average man
May 22, 2012, 4:36PM
New race or not. He will have problems just like the rest of us. If he makes it into adulthood without any serious health risks or healthy criminal record then he might just make something of himself. I wish you the best kid. May you never suffer a broken heart, have need for money, or frear for you life. The one and only Fernando.
May 22, 2012, 4:38PM
awesome..after reading the other post..you guys cry more than he prob does..geez !..babies go home already !
May 22, 2012, 4:39PM
Now that kid that tried to get into the guiness book of world records was disturbing but come on people...this can easily be great genetics! My son almost looks like this and he doesn't even lift any weights :S Sure this childs biceps and forearms are pretty thick for his size but how can one judge without viewing his parents? He could be naturally built like this and because his father &/or mother is into BB they had him pick up these weights simply for the photo op...who knows??? People can be so judgmental and think they have all the answers but in reality they haven't got a clue about any of it! But for the sake of the child I hope he isn't pushed to do this (as parents do with their 'pageant kids)! I hope he is just a healthy boy :)
May 22, 2012, 4:51PM
I have seen this kid on YouTube videos and he does some really impressive feats of strength, but whoever has him lifting weights at such an early age either doesn't car about his physical development or just has no clue on the effects it will have. And being a father myself I would consider my child's health first!!!
May 22, 2012, 5:22PM
I think this child is doing just fine! Some of you worry too much! I wish my dad had taken the time to introduce me to this discipline early on. It probably would have done us both good. He died at an early age from being overweight, an alcoholic and smoker! So much for shortening ones life by 20 years! I have followed this story in the past and I've not heard of this genetic abnomality as related to him.
May 22, 2012, 5:25PM
no this cant be justified its to early no matter what anyone might say its cruel and wrong to do this to your child...
May 22, 2012, 5:37PM
May 22, 2012, 5:39PM
this looks like a child i see on you tube about a boy that has been born with a rear condition where he has alot aof muscal, it looks like the same boy he had test when he was 3 and he had the same strenth as a boy of 6/7 . could do chin ups at the age of 3 ..
May 22, 2012, 6:21PM
myostatin deficiencies is what the guy was talking about man when he said he might llose. But its hard to say because there are very few specimens with the double deficiency which is what you would be talking about. There are two genes that prescribe it so they have found quite a few elite athletes with singular deficiencies. However, it has been seen to reduce elasticity of tendons and ligaments, and of course having that much muscle is harder on the heart. That being said, I really wish I had that disorder.
May 22, 2012, 7:23PM
A million bucks says everyone against it are fat slobs.
May 22, 2012, 9:20PM
when you look in his eyes he is not looking healty 100 % no go
May 22, 2012, 9:55PM
May 22, 2012, 11:17PM
like little Trunk ;) Dragon Ball in real life?
May 22, 2012, 11:39PM
Much people say it is harmful so please, stop working out!
May 22, 2012, 11:51PM
he need to discuss with doctors abt this ....
May 23, 2012, 1:21AM
Chyba Polscy trenerzy bez pojęcia to mówią zgadza się jest szkodliwy jak jest nieumiejętnie prowadzony. Czytaj ze zrozumieniem!!!!!
May 23, 2012, 3:39AM
This is no different to a kid doing gymnastics! But you don`t see people writing crap about that. I am a gymnastic and bodybuilder since I was 4 and gymnastics was harder on my body than weight training ever was and neither have physically effected me.
May 23, 2012, 5:48AM
in 30 years best bodybuilder in the world !!
May 23, 2012, 5:49AM
seriously needs to work on the upper lats..
May 23, 2012, 7:12AM
Looks solid, thick, tight. In all seriousness though, I would say he's perfectly healthy. His shape is much better than being morbidly obese, and all of the people claiming he's going to have health problems have only anecdotal claims....not a single study was cited showing problems with low body fat, more muscle, or lifting weights at his age.
May 23, 2012, 7:35AM
I agree that he could have bone/joint difficulties, and that the current condition he's in could already be a pathology. Barring steroids, this is a father's ego operating.
May 23, 2012, 7:40AM
This is not appropriate age for a child to lift weights, contact CPS
May 23, 2012, 7:41AM
Irresponsables,ce gosse s'il continue est foutu..............il faut dénoncer ça................
May 23, 2012, 8:19AM

giuliano stroe,romanian kid :)
May 23, 2012, 9:06AM
that kid is on a good diet and most of his liquid intake is probably water. if so his joints will stay lubricated. hope fully his diet gives him enough calories to.
May 23, 2012, 10:02AM
it's really lousy that a so short-aged child is being wrecked by a sport doesn't go with him at the moment. Why not swimming, to develop far bigger back and keeping on body fat losses well. Or either, he could go running; we don't remember what Schwarzenegger or Ferrigno trained at this age: NOTHING, and afterwards, years and years later, running, football, and even a little of boxing, otherwise, you won't keep your chid HEALTHY AND FIT!
May 23, 2012, 3:01PM
I think this kid is amazing and inspirational. Most of his workouts are body weight related and he does them well. So many comments say he won't grow and I think that's just an old bs way of thinking. I started wrestling at 5 and the workouts were brutal sometimes but they made me stronger and tougher. I'm 6'2", obviously the workouts including lifting small amounts of weight when I hit 7 didn't affect my growth unless I was supposed to be 7' tall. Our nation is over run by obese children over fed with fast food and nonsense. I don't think it would be so bad to be known as the nation with the most fit and muscular children rather than the fattest nation in the world.

Wow so many M.D.'s here! He appears healthier than most kids and why knock an active kid's lifestyle? Jic120's comment was one of the more realistic ones on here!

ME I just turned 15 I'm 6'2 and 280lbs but I have a very fat belly and i have man boobs and i hate taking off my shirt because it embarrass the hell out of me54 but i still have a lot of powerful muscle that im going to be using soon for football but any way IK for a fact that I'm going to have my kid's working out with me so that they wont have the fat to embarrass them and help them with whatever sport they do but i'm NOT GOING TO MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE THIS
May 24, 2013, 3:58PM
his muscular structure is most likely caused by a myostatin mutation. it happens without steroids
