Knowing what you like and how you best look is a blessing i finally came to realize. I was gettin’ my hair chopped yesterday and my hair stylist started using this texture cream making my head into a torpedo.You know that new cut/style where they make everything up to a point.Well, since birth i have been blessed/cursed with a huge noggin er humpty dumpty head. I have been poked and proded and made fun of in every grade and every bar. My point it
i have accepted who i am and what i like.I changed my hair and told
my stylist that when your pale..you don’t wear gray it washes you out.When you have a huge head (90% air) you don’t wear a certain cut or put on a cowboy hat (custom made).
She tried to get me to get a facial and of course my nails done (hahahaha).Not me.She poked me and told me i could have an appt. when no one was in the salon (lol). I told her..it’s just not me.Not knockin’ it or trying to be a he-man, it just isn’t me.A massage i have done at a spa and that waas incredible.Maybe it comes with age and knowing who i am and what i like.Goes back to eating clean.I can eat the same 10 foods over and over again and not get bored.Stick to what you like and what you know.This doesn’t mean i won’t try new things, but when you know you know (yourself).

I entered my local Vitamin Shoppe for the second time in my life and left with some Casein protein powder, ZMA and multi-vitamin.It hit me on am on this site daily and why don’t i purchase from online…hmm maybe i am not a huge purchasher online in general and also i like to walk up and down the aisles to see what’s new, what is selling and talk supplement BS with my local staff.
I do like some products you normally can’t get in a store such as Beverly products and Full Strength by Shawn Phillips.

As an avid watcher of both the cooking channel & top chef on Bravo.
I keep waiting for an episode or a whole series on healthy food episodes maybe for fitness models or bodybuilders.
Maybe even Man vs. food episode were he eats 50 egg white only omelettes or eats protein powder oatmeal out of 50lb bucket!!

Have you tried some new supplement on pure chance and have great results from it?? Or switched supplement companies on a
product and had better results?? How bout you swear you will never use it again?? Some companies get purchased and change the formulas for their products and it goes downhill. What are you hearing about through other members??

Today was a major eye opener as i got on a (trucker) scale and liked the numbers it shot back 112.2 kg’s or 247 lbs (OMG).I almost fell over from pure shock.The heaviest i have ever been in my whole entire life. I took my mom to her dialysis unit and weighed myself.
Then the units nutritionist printed out a page at my height i should weigh 176-215 lbs.Enough to make my heart flatline.
So moral of the story is, regardless of friends and families health issues and emergencies ALWAYS make your health TOP #1 Priority.
I put everyone else first and due to loss of job, moms health emergencies, lack of family pitching in..i did the unthinkable and ate pure evil and quit going to the gym last few years due to finances and more time for others being a caregiver.First time in my life i wasn’t up to my normal activity levels and it shows.Wow! I don’t know if doing two a day workouts will be enough to hit my goal of my Bday in mid-january.I glanced at my old drivers license from almost 4 years back i weighed 228.So i put on 5 lbs last few years and obviosuly it isn’t muscle.Back to square one!!

I constantly read how many people eliminate fat from their meals.But do you add good fats?? Omega’s 3, 6 & 9? Flaxseed
in your salads? Whipping Cream in your protein shakes? Nut Butter?

As an avid supplement believer, i am shocked at all the people who "only" believe in eating clean or getting their vitamins from the foods they eat?? Which one are you and why?? Back up your belief system!! Does the soil we plant our food in as nutrient dense and safe as it was 20 years ago? 50?
Do you notice a difference in your body supplementing with protein powders? More energy more your multi-vitamin??
