6 weeks…I can do it!

I can give all the silly reasons why i havent been working out hard n e more but really it all comes down to me getting in my own way. i let my low self esteem keep me back far too often. Ive gained a little weight, nothing much jiust like 2 or 3 pounds, ive lost a bit of muscle mass and ive definatly lacked in motivation. So i need a reason to get back on it b/c doing it for me just isnt cutting it any more.

So in 6 weeks it is my boyfriend’s b-day. Usually we go down to the lake, spend a day in our bikinis, bbq, beer and dancing. im sure this year will be no different. Luke works hard at himself. he’s got alot of muscle and he’s lost some weight lately. The gym consumes him, so much that it sometimes causes problems b/w us. So i figure he can be my motivation. I want him to feel like a king, he’s looking good, ill look good. I want to make him proud.

 Ill fill you in on the diet and training as i go! Just finished my measurments today and took some before pics i’ll post later on. WISh ME LUCK!

The Early Bird

how do you di it? …The best wya to start a day is up early and get a healthy day started with a run,workot, good breakfast! Not so long ago i loved doing this. Now I feel really icky and I never get a chance to go to the gym in the evenings becase i get so busy. So my question is what are your tactics? How do i get my butt outta bed in the morning?!

So crazy cat lady has nothing on this crazy dog lady lol. I didnt know i was like this lol its abit pathetic. I dont do ne thing without the dog and when i do i miss him. he’s the biggestest sweety ever!

With an upcomming new job comes a move so right now my landlord is showing off my apartment, one lady that shows it off doesnt want the odg here when they come so i have to take him out for a walk. They give me only about 5 minutes njotice before they come so that means I always have to be with the dog, menaing no gym for me untill luke comes home. When he does come hme though i usually dont want to go so ive started working out in my home again, …..with my dog! :)

It takes awhile to figure out when he will not bother me with lol but we got it down to a science almost now lol. Hes just a pup so sitting there watching me workout is a no no, he wants to get in there! So im training him to get away from my feet, not get too excited and to play with me. Basically hes either on leash and running or walking or has a bone and we play fetch or a toy and we play tug. Some examples and tugging while  doing suats, its easy b/c i tugging up and down as i squat, or one i like is doing knealing kickbacks and with the opposit arm as the leg i am working i tug with him, this engages my core as well. Or ill do a set of something and throw his bone, he fetches and i throw again after my next set. Its all really fun and still really easy to concentrate on the working muscles. Its good to be able to workout and not ignore him. Hes quite the dogggie :)

Last minute..advice

So ive been working hard as hell these last 18 months, in college and in training. now im graduating college this friday…2 days! so im wondering if theres n e things that will make the difference this qick??

Im going to eat very little, lots of veges, and do cardio like mad. tonight, thurday and friday morning i will do an intense full body worekout.

Does this sound like a good plan?

arms and legs! im wearing a little summer dress. its white so im tanning like mad lol and i want my les and arms to stand out. I have good muscle on both but I need to watch my diet and just keep at it. ive been working my back alot latelly and im really impressed with the results. I think im gonna be proud :)

 

PS. my pup (diesel) is doing great. its pretty cold out there so hes so sad when we walk lol but he’s a good doggie. very meak and mild but very hyper when alllowed lol. you should see him with ktties! he definatly got his ass kicked ls night lol

 

A new running partner

The weather is getting nice, the sidewalks arnt messy and we I run my lungs don’t feel like they will fall out. Im really looking forward to this spring as far as training goes. exams and college is done which means no more homework and studying! of course i have to concentrate on work, but when i leave it i leave it and can focus on ME for a change. So in about 2 hours im going to get my new running partner….a blue american staffashoir :) he’s just a pup,6 wks old! talk about excited lol ive beenn dog proofing my place all day.

 

Anyway my last exam is tomorrow. wish me luck :P

Ive been down this last week…donno why i just have been. i have no ambtion about n e thing and i havent been feeling that good. So my guy come home yesterday with some flowers! yay me! what a guy. So I cant say that it fixed everything but it definatly worked at making me feel better. Just got done a huge exam and now im gonna go tan, tidy up around the apartment and workout some. I deserve it for sure!!!

Well first i have to say that this is my last day of classes. OMG!!! where did the time go. honestly im happy as hell but so so sad. my routine…my tea in the a.m with friends, everything…its all over :(

So this is my last set of exams. for the last 3 days i havent been going to the gym b/c im too tired early before classes and i dont have time in the evening. so i think the best thing to do untill they are over is this:

i will hit the gym WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT, doing cardio and maybe some sauna time. at home i will workout on my breaks from studying…with walking, yoga, pilates, skipping, and weights. i will try to do full body everyday.

As for diet : hard! i stay up late and like coffee..hmmm…. i guess i will try to keep the protein, eat small meals frequently and as for icecream ….only a small MUG full each day :)

no big competition like some of you go getters but my graduation is comming up and who doesnt wanna ook good for that!? Problem my ambitition is so low some days i love the gym other days (like today) i just want to stay in bed. Exams are right around the corner too which is never all that great for my body. I need a good plan of action. weeek by week i think! ill do soem thinking today, things gotta happen.

though i have seen an improvement in my muscle latley iv also seen growth around the belly :( diet diet diet!

really its my own fault. im so unorganized lately, i neevr have n e thing filling prepared for the next day and im tiring myself out too much during the day to want to go to the gym :( sad face.

25 days…lets seen what i can make happen
