I have lost 85 lbs and the last week or so, she'll be on board and ready to eat right and i'll be like "hey lets get some mexican, or some chinese or pizza untill she caves in. In the beginning of my weightloss she done that to me and i managed it, but now i am doing it to her. I need to stop and will today, cause not only is it hurting her, it's starting to hurt my job of maintaining!!good post helped my open my eyes a little!!!!

I couldn't agree more. My husband boxes (amateur) and he's trying to drop weight so he can go in a lower weight class which he thinks he can drop weight by eating an orange and a very small sandwich for lunch, no breakfast, a granola bar for a snack and then he comes home and eats HUGE portions for dinner and then snacks on everything in sight until he goes to bed. It's so frustrating! It does make it more difficult to not snack with him (especially when it's ice cream). Are we dating the same person! HA! My husband will do the same thing (talk about certain foods until I give in and say yes). He just wants someone to eat with. Let me know if you figure out a solution because I am in the same situation.

I can certainly relate. While my wife tries to support my lifestyle she doesn't have the same passion for it as I do. To be honest she's one of my biggest dietary distractions as often she attempts to lure me into cheat meals. I've had to become tough lately and flat out refuse to eat what she's made and create a serperate dinner for myself.
