what april will bring….

Ive decided this three month chunk is VERY important. not only is it the last semester of my junior yr at college (the most important and challanging) it is also my last chance to ENTER  the summer season with the body I hoped to have. I realized that though building muscle is important to me, My priority right now is to slim down a bit, to lose that extra bit of body fat hanging around in order to see a tighter body. Though i do not as of right now know what my bodyfat% is i will find out…and even before i do my goal is to lower it.

So april will bring…..1 hour of cardio 5-6 days a week (2 half hour sessions)

                      
   … major sweating during my workouts= push my self harder than usual (hopefully some bigger weights)

                      
    … a SPECIFIC DIET with food type/time planned out the majority of the time

                      
    … limit salt,25-35g fiber per day, 1300 cals, adequate carb/protein portions

 

For daily life this month will bring spring clenaing :) ! yay i love it!

                      
                         Alot of study sessions with girlfriends to stay on top of this semester

                      
                         Tanning…thanks to some talks with my gal Sparkie ;P

                      
                         alot more mediation,yoga and massages

                      

I plan to begin each morning by blogging my planned meals, exercises and other important things for the day, the next day I will post how succesful the previous day was or wasn’t along with that days plans…I need to stay on track for sure and keep my self reminded of why i want to do this

I have to admit…im disapointed. so i cheated……ALOT!!! and didnt train at all.

basically this whole week will be getting back what i lost! grrrrr.

April is two days away, with my new workout tuesday is my rest day so tomrrow i will do a full body workout I think. Sometimes my body just needs that little boost.

Im also going a bit harder on the diet. basically its summer crunch time. So tomorrow ill post my blog , breaking down my whole month for yas..i know you wanna hear lol :)

re-evaluating my goals

I mentioned I had finished my routine for April the other day and was working on my diet plan, i got stuck!

The reason i was hoping to switch up my diet was that i’ve pretty much mastered eating clean…with the exceptions of a few cheats, and wanted a challange. I done some research to see what was out there. I checked out the blood type diet (was on it b4), carb cycling, counting calories etc. then i realized i wasn’t really aimiing for a goal!

My reason for eating clean and even staring to seriously train was for health. I saw too many friends and family lose their health and/or life to bad choices and i realized i have SO much more to offer. I also realized once I started this training that I fell in love and it means alot more to me now. So i guess what im trying to say is my goals are not the same…but im not exactly sure what they are yet.

Health comes out number one, for me and the family i want to raise,. I also want to be realistic and choose something I CAN accomplish right now and wont disscourage me. Do I want to build more, lose more bodyfat, compete someday, look toned and slim??????? i dont know lol. it changes everyday lol.

So i have somemore reasearch/thinking to do about my goals forst, my diet next, and then maybe that april routine will have to be changed a bit?

Im off for an ab workout, ill blog again as soon as i have an idea of my path :)

obliques killing me

 Woke up this morning and my abs were VERY sore! its funny beacause a few months ago I went to bed and got kinda nervous because parts of my ribs were KILLING me! hahaha it was a few classes after that that I learned your abs  attach to you ribs…lol so i wasn’t dying. so again im feeling that, only this time any turn at the waist is burning and laughing kind of sucks..yes!! haha havent worked my abs this good in a while..and it was two days ago.

Today I will do shoulders, bis and tris, i love working my arms. It’s a fun workout. I get really into it. I got my workout sched for April done last night. Im excited to start it. Im also going to work on a better diet plan for april b/c i feel as though I have the clean eating good, now i want to focuz on a goal. ill let u know how it all goes

my cardio day quickly turned into leg day. I had the whole day to myself, decided to stay in and couldnt stay away from training lol. who woulda thought id ever be like this. I cant wait to hate being on my feet tomorrow from my workout! :)

a full day to myself :)

no school, no work! yay!

today is a cardio day, im not too excited lol but ill give it my all, summer isn’t far away. i think today i’ll cook up some healthy meals to have stashed in the fridge for lunches and such, its always so much easier that day.

besides that i have no real plans but relaxing :)

first day back after easter

back,chest and abs today…it wasnt bad. my mind wasn’t into my chest workout much, back was alright and ab was awesome, ahwell.

This is my last week on this routine, I am creating my own this week for the month of april, I need some variety!! I have the week off school so i plan on having some AWESOME workouts. I am not worried about my diet half as much anymore, ive really got to loving clean food and disliking all the rest. I have plans on friday to go out for some drinks as my last night b4 3rd semester. ill have a bit of white wine, and im okay with the cheat…I deserve the night out i think lol.

   being back makes me feel so much better about training. I love being on my own and in control of my schedules, for meals, trainng and everything. I think im off for a walk now. night!
