home gym

so i still havent got the guts to go the gym yet :( but last week i re-decorated my HUGE closet into a home gym for myself.

it’s pretty basic with only weights, mat, ball and stepper but it gets the job done. I feel like I’m getting there, it’s cute and it’s there when I have a few extra minutes here and there for privacy with my work-outs.

I’m finding it more and more difficukt to stay on top of college work and be serious about my fittness, it’s like two loves pulling me both ways :) my new room gives me a happy medium tho, sometimes ill take my studies in hang out for a while studying and working out.

Welcome to bodyspace! It’s truly addicting lol And you shouldn’t be shy to hit the gym! I understand that feeling, though. I think we all start there at first. Find a gym partner, though, and hold each other accountable for showing up. It’s much more fun that way, and you two can just focus on your workouts and not let the rest of the gym world get to you. iPods work great for tuning out the gym, too. Or, don’t go during peak hours. It sucks with finals coming up, but late night is usually better than early morning, though I feel much more energized throughout the day after a good am workout. Good luck! :)
