The Double edged sword

So this is my first attempt at a blog.  This is totally out of character for me but hey, what the hell!

So I’m having mixed feelings about my efforts to get a 6 pack.  Here is the problem - I’m at a point that I’m pretty happy with the way I look.  I don’t have a 6 pack yet!  Now the leaner and closer I get to this six pack, the better I look with my shirt off.  Consequently, (or at least in my opinion), the worse I look with my shirt on.  Now that’s not to say I think I look bad with a shirt on, but DAMN, — I’ve lost a half inch off my arms!  Yes they are more cut now - but sheesh - a half inch is a big deal when talking about arms.  I miss that snug feel that my t-shirts used to give me on my arms.  Then there is the whole clothes problem.  Hmmm - went to try on a few suits this morning, and I now realize - I have nothing to wear for a Xmas party tomorrow night.  The pants are all way too big in the waist! Damn - suits are expensive - and now I have to get one in short order  - thats the real problem(yes i’m a procrastinator).  More and more I feel like I’m looking - skinny when I have clothes on.  Not too happy with that. Finally, passing up on all that great food - ughhh (wait who am I kidding — Im nowhere near strict - or this 6 would have been cut ages ago  :)

What do you mean pasta isn’t cutting food??  Hehehe

So all this for a 6pack??  Well every once in a while - I pass by the mirror and lift the shirt, or in the mornings before showering - I have a look and think - DAMN  that 6 is going to look good.  And then to boot, it’s going to be fun beating Penny08!

So thats my double edged sword problem.  Cant wait to cut this 6 - so then I can go onto a bulking phase  — hopefully I can keep it clean though!

Hey I can relate on the clothes James. A couple mths ago I put on my favorite sports jacket for a wedding, and it looked like a tent on me! I looked like a kid trying on his Dad’s jacket. I had already noticed that I had lost size in my shoulders, which I was not thrilled about (I’m not a big hulking tank to begin with). BUT, I’d much rather be cut than huge.

I’m on a Gladiator warrior mission this month (my Dec blogs) to see more of my long lost abs by yr-end.

So, who should I root for, you or Penny08? Hmmm, gotta go with her. She’s a whole lot better looking than you….. :)

LOL After this we can see who can bulk better then cut again just in time for speedo weather!! So save those old clothes for when you fill them up with even bigger cuts :D Lookin’ forward to the speedo weather!! lmao

    I really like Al–1961 btw … he’s a great guy :D

Men have it rough. Too skinny isn’t good and too bulky means you can’t see your 6 pack. You’ll be a skinny 6 packer. And then you can bulk up after the contest is over.

I’m sure Walmart has specials on pants that you can buy in a pinch ;P
