293 protein, 1608 calories, 75 carb, 3/4 gallon water
Today was another really good day. I didn’t get to walk the dog this morning, but that’s OK. My diet was on point, which is great. Workout #1 was 30 minutes of cardio on the elipitcal. Workout #2 was back. I tried 505lbs for deadlifts, but just didn’t have enough energy. I’m going to try it again fresh in a couple of weeks or so. After my second workout, I mowed my beast of a lawn. Believe it or not, it was an amazing workout! lol. And my weight gain from the weekend melted right off. I’m now down a cool 18 lbs in less than 5 weeks. I’m hoping to be at a 20lb+ loss by the end of week 5.

296 protein, 1631 calories, 28 carb, 1/2 water
Like I said, I’m on it for week 5. Today was GREAT day. My diet was on point, and my workouts were good as well. In workout #1 I did 40 minutes of cardio on the eliptical; burned a TON of calories. Workout #2 was chest. I decreased my rest time a bit, which made it a big more tough. I also went back down to 3-4 sets of 8-10 reps. It was a really good workout. I didn’t do cardio afterwards because of my car situation, however, I’m going to take my dog for a long walk tonight and wake up in the moring and either go for a jog or take the dog for a walk. I’m going to bust my ass this week because I feel like this week I’m going to drop a lot of weight!

288 protein, 2740 calories, 140 carb, 1/2 water
Today was a decent day considering I had to eat on the road on the way home from Chicago. I didn’t get to workout, but I did get a chance to take my dog on a long walk. I am going to get things back on track come tomorrow. I now have my car situation worked out, and as a result, my workout schedule, and by association, my eating schedule. I plan on doing some MAJOR dmamge in week 5.

312 protein, 1904 calories, 85 carb, 1/2 water
Today was a decent day…I didn’t eat the way I wanted to because my schedule has continued to be thrown off. But the diet wasn’t the worst part, NO GYM! My crazy day just didn’t allow for it. BUT, I did manage to go play some basketball, so that’s good.

310 protein, 2520 calories, 150 carb, 1/2 gallon water
What a day this was! My transmission went out on my car, which threw everything off; my work schedule, diet, mentoring, and workout! I did decent on my diet; what messed me up was the bowl of honey oat cheerios I had, hence the hike in carbs! I didn’t get to the gym at all. This was a disappointing day for me.

346 protein, 1645 calories, 24 carb, 1/2 gallon water
Today was another good day. Diet again on point, though right now I’m CRAVING a McDonalds fruit smoothie! But NO, I’ll have to wait until Friday after 4:00 p. Workout #1 consisted of 40 minutes of cardio on the eliptical. Workout #2 was a shoulder day, followed by 20 min of HIIT on the stepper. 62 more days!

422 protein, 2054 calories, 30 carb, 1/2 gallon water
Today was yet another very clean day of eating. Diet continues to be on point. I reduced my calories a bit the past couple of days, and I’m surprised at the amount of protein I was still able to get in. My energy was still high with the decrease in calories, and I haven’t been hungry, which I feared a bit. I was only able to get on workout in today, and it was back. I did numerous exercises and decided to switch it up a bit this week; I’m going a bit lighter and doing 5X20, really focusing on working the muscle to failure. It was an AMAZING workout. However, I did go heavy with my deadlift as I don’t think you can get much of an effect if you don’t. To my surprise, I hit a new max: 490 lbs. I was really happy with that. My previous high was 455 lbs. about 5 weeks ago. After my back workout, I hit 20 minutes of cardio, and then joined a friend for a bucket of balls at the golf range. All in all, another really good day!

413 protein, 1966 calories, 38 carb, 1/2 gallon water
Back at it today. I had a few good cheat meals yesterday, but didn’t go overboard. Today I did chest, triceps, and abs at the gym, followed my 20 minutes of cardio. I also had a workout partner today, which was VERY different. I’m just really used to wroking out on my own and at my own pace. Starting here in week 4, I’m tweaking my diet a bit as well. Refer to my previous blog for that. I think I’ll take progress pics Thursday. Bring on week 4!

I’ve been thinking about this the entire week. I’m entering week 4 of 12 come tomorrow. Thus far I’ve been averaging about 2500 calories a day, and my protein intake has been 475g and above for the most part. I think I’m going to slash 200 calories off each week until I reach about 1500; that would put me at about week 9. From then until week 12 I’ll stay at 1500. I’m going to keep my protein as high as possible with my calorie intake.
