It’s becoming addictive!!!!
I can’t believe it, I’m REALLY enjoying running! I’m trying to vary my cardio, but I feel myself wanting to run more and more everyday. Now I’m no runner by any means, but it’s somehting about it that I’m liking. Today I ran at intervals of 5.5 and 6.5, with a few 1 minute walks spread throughout. I did this for an hour, and ended up with a little over 5 miles. Again, I’m no runner, but when first decided to start running, I really couldn’t do it, and had to work my way up from briskly walking to where I am now. Also, I think running is what my body really needs for dropping bodyfat. I think I’m noticing a difference. I’ve been at it for about a month now, so we’ll see where I am at the end of April.

that’s awsome I’ve grown to love running over the last year…you feel great after a long run my off days I can’t help but run it’s the one of the best feelings, I’m able to clear my head enjoy the outdoors and of course admire the women. Somethig that’s kept my motivation high fir running is getting some Nike shoes wight the Nike plus kit that let’s you track your miles cals. Time average pace then I syncs up with your comp and displays it on. Your own Nike running page. There’s all kinds of challenges you can join and it’s even pushed me to start running longer distances in hopes of someday doing a half then a full marathon!

congrats on that accomplishment with the running. I jog on the treadmill for the next to the last minute of a HITT cardio; that’s enough for now - lol. Your avi is looking tight - keep up the great work!

Running can be such a drag. I find that I have to put in those 1 minute walks to at least change it up. It’s easy to get bored on the treadmill. But the fact that you’re finding something to like about running is great. Don’t lose it!! 5 miles is more than I could say. My max is 3.

That’s awesome, congrats! I would love to work my way up to running but I’m afraid I’ll blow out a knee. I’ll do an hour on the elliptical and that doesn’t seem to bother me, but I’ve never gotten past a fast walk on the treadmill LOL. Way to go, keep up the great work!

That is awesome. I love to run too. Put the ipod in and off we go. There is nothing better and it drops the weight quick like you said. Just remember to give your body time to adjust your muscles to cope with the extra pounding on your joints. Recovery time is just as important as the run. I’ll be out there on the roads with you buddy, just on my side of the planet thats all……………..

I have had that same experience. Running does make you feel better. Like they say take life in stride and who knows what accomplishments you will make.
