"Update: Hello my birthday was May 14,2008 and instead of losing weight I gained weight according to my last doctor visit- I am now 170 so my goals have been revised. I want to lose the "spare tire" that I have around my midsection."

Happy New Year to all

ITNewibie

Hello all

My workout at home was brutal on my endurance and I did not complete it -I did a program called The Training -for-Life Experience from the Body-for Life Challenge. I used this with a couple clients when I was doing personal training and it is hard so I did not complete but I will use this with my home workout ,sort of an abbreviated version. I have a dumbbell set with  a total of 80 lbs which I found in the basement of my apartment. So I expect to be sore either today or tommorow  I did back and triceps which is outlined in my profile under my workout section. It is a start and maybe this year I will get back into the gym to have a better workout similiar to what I used to do which was 6 days a week . Here is the website if any one is interested. http://www.bodyforlife.com/

Check it out I tried it and applied it to my workout routine in a modified form. It is heavy on endurance similiar to circuit training and it has a challenge along with supplements that they suggest you take. Seems legit.

Any way I have a concern I am having a problem getting into my main Body space page. Is anyone else having that problem? I wonder if everyone is using it and the server is loaded at the moment but will keep trying

Happy New Year to all and be safe see you all in the new year

Hello my name is Kirk Fontaine this is my introduction to Bodybuilding .com -I  am just getting my feet wet. I have been a avid enthusiast of bodybuilding and health as long as I can remember. I have a degree in Health Education and Sport Medicine from Ashland University I did work in my degree for a least 10 of the 17 years since I graduated from college .

Started lifting weights offficailaly in 1984 when I went to college here in Cleveland Ohio I have competed in several regional competetions -my most recent one was in Columbus in 2002 I competed in a dual category of Lightweight and Masters categories and got 3rd and 4th respectively. And i won the Mr Cleveland competetion one year and I will update my profile when I get the information regarding that. Right now you will have to take my word on it.
Since then I had a tragedy change my life and I had to quit my job as a teacher’s aide  I started working on healing myself through intense therapy and reflecting on my past accomplishments. Currently I am working on getting myself healed physically ,emotionally and spirtiually . It is a tough road but I am dealing with it. A friend of mine died from commiting suicide in 2003 and my mom died from natural causes in 2005 and to make a long story short i am in search of my biological mom who I never knew since the mom that raised me was this beautiful lady that adopted me. So now that she has passed on, I am in search of my identity. I am 46 -will be 47 in May of 2008 and I need to find out about my  medical history. It has become frustrating on many levels, since my doctors always ask me about my history, if I come in with medical issues.

This is  my current status as of now and I am  on the road to recovery and bodybuilding is on my agenda along with obtaining closure on my past tragic events and working on the search for my identity.

I will close this mini chapeter(smile) until I have more to update with . This is great way to relieve the anxiety and stress that I feel on a daily basis Thanks god for this blogger.
Until next post ,I remain

Happy Holidays

Kirk Fontaine
