Booze Break: Take Two (For real this time!)
Good news! I have not drank alcohol for 2 weeks and I’m feeling pretty good all around. I am excited about the changes that will come in the upcoming weeks and months. I know that if I can stay away from the beer, I WILL reach my goals.
My food intake has been fairly consistent over the past two weeks which is really remarkable since I am in PMS mode (which usually sends me into a week or two of not caring what or how much I eat). It’s clear to me that drinking only made that problem much worse.
I’m still not motivated to exercise but to be honest I’m not too concerned with that right now. My main focus is on detoxing so I will gain clarity and strength. I have abused my body with alcohol for 15 years. I’m so glad that I have finally taken charge and chosen to walk down a brighter path.
