I’m BAAACCCCKKKK!!!!

Hi Friends,

I’d been side lined for a week with illness.  This led me to eat bad.  My honey had alot to do with this as well.  He was left to fend for himself and me.  Needless to say he won’t cook  anything so I ate fast food for lunch three times out of the week, and butter pecan ice cream. OH, the tasty shame. 

Ok,  I’m over that.  Today, I went to the gym.  It was ok.  I did 30 min of cardio (elliptical machine). I’ll admit I was winded.  I just had to tell myself before I was side lined I was just getting back into my training anyway.  I’m still building up my stamina. I also did 3 x 10 of 60lbs of leg extensions (I only go to gym to use the elliptical and the competition).  Tread mill girl keeps me going.  Just when I’m ready to give up I look over at her bouncing ponytail and say to myself "Oh no you don’t.  If she can do another 30min running.  I know darn well I can do another 10min).  So, I did.  Yay!!! me!  I know for many it might not seem much, but for me it’s the start to me getting on that roll.  I really need a consistant start.  And that my friends is what it is a start. Tonight, I plan on doing my "Crunch Power Yoga".  It’s a great workout.  Tomorrow my plan is to go a little longer in cardio as well as developing my lifting plan. 

Today for breakfast I had:

An omelet w/bell peppers, sprinkling of reduced fat bacon bits, and sharp cheese.

Lunch:

Salad w/tuna, bell peppers, cucumbers, sprinkling of reduced fat bacon bits, reduced fat dressing.

Dinner:

steak stir fry (which includes bell peppers & onions)w/brown rice (the minute rice kind…Hey it works for me).  As you may have noticed the bell pepper pattern.  They were on sale. LOL!!!

Of course water throughout the day.

I also tried Muscle Milk reduced calorie whey protein (chocolate).  "IT WAS GROSS!!!" I’m not exactly sure if it’s the sweetner they use or just all the ingredients, but it was horrible.  It has the same taste as if you were to use too much sweet & low or equal (sucralose).  Have they heard of Splenda.  I hate I wasted my money on it.  I even tried using a straw to limit the taste, but that didn’t work.  I really hate wasting my money.  I’m going to torture myself until it’s gone and try something else.  UUUUGGGhhh Yuck!!!!!

Well Homies bye for now.  I’ll let you all know what I’m up to tomorrow.

Hi,

I figured the best way to get myself on the right track is to start by writing down my thoughts.  Here goes.  I started this year off like many others with the usual New Year’s resolution.  Well, let me tell you I’ve started and stop several times since Jan.  I’ve been under the weather for the past two weeks and decided enoughs is enough.  I lost weight once before.  Believe it or not it was accidental.  This one job I had a few years ago caused me to miss my train practically everday.  So, instead of waiting at the train station for two hours I decided to check out the gym nearby(Ballys).  Besides my mom got me a membership and I never used it.  I worked out 5 days a week.  When I noticed a change in my body.  I changed the way I ate.  Pretty clean during the week and on the weekend I ate whatever I craved.  This worked out well.  I lost about 40lbs between 3-4 months (from 184 to 144-134 I carried alot in my boobs LOL!!!).  This new body was great.  I was getting lots of compliments.  I loved it.  My younger sister even gave me a compliment.  People, she never does that!  This was so awesome.  I even wanted to go farther and go into the basement with the bodybuilders (I was too chicken to do that though)!!!  The dressing rooms are in the basement where the real bodybuilders worked out at.  I found myself peeping around the corner in amazement.  There were only a couple of ladies working out with the guys.  Cool!!!  I wanted them to help me, but I was too afraid to ask.  I felt like a poodle in a pitbull cage.  I kept this body going for about a year.  Then it happened.

I met my McDreamy!!!  You know what happens next.  We go out to dinner damn near everyday.  I stop working out, and i gained all but 10lbs back.  I still have my McDreamy though.  He has never complained.  He supports me in whatever I want to do, but I really would like to prove to my self that I can do this. Besides, I haven’t worn a two piece since high school.  I’d absolutely love to do that and show my sister up (she wears one all the time).  Oh, it’s five years later.  I’m really going to work my bum off to get myself together.  I still have dreams of getting myself down to fitness competition form (maybe even competing. Woo dream big girl!!!).  Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
