My year of 2007 and new beginnings!

Now that the new year is under way, I have recently started thinking about the year that just passed, and what I had accomplished. I learned a lot about nutrition, proper meal timing and what I need to eat to achieve results. I;ve learned how strong I can be and how much I can push myself. Physically I have slowly made transformation of my old self. I am now more defined and stronger than before. This might sound weird, but I’ve also developed that nice “line” of muscle down my back of the spine. I’ve never had that before, it used to be flat. I’ve also developed some glutes, which I never had before. I was gifted with the pancake bum symdrome (thanks to all those squats and lunges). Most importantly, I’ve accomplished just how confident I can be, I am comfortable in my own skin. I am always looking for something more challenging to do. I like to prove to myself I can do it.

So for the year 2008 I was thinking what I can accomplish. I’ve thought of a few things. First of all, I am going to continue working with a coach and strive to be the best I can be. I really would like to focus more on my nutrition program more than anything since it has been my  weakness. I woudl also like to try more difficult and challenging training programs at the gym.  I am planning on setting a goal for myself come June 2008 (my birthday) I want to be ripped and lean like a figure model. Hey mayhe then things will look great finanically  that I can start looking for a figure competition to try out.

These are just a few things I want to accomplish come the year of 2008. I am going to try and blog as much as I can during my progress. Keep tuned in and don’t forget to check out my bodyspace page for pictures and such.!!

 

I need a kick in the butt or something..!

I don’t know what my problem is lately. I have been sticking to my diet to a T all day long, but as soon as night time rolls around, I crave sweets like chocolate or peanut butter! Am I not eating enough throughout the day? Why do I get the cravings after my last meal? I really don’t want to lose track, especially with Christmas around the corner.  What is the best way to handle these sweet cravings at night?

I just want to tell everyone how excited I am. I just got my clear high heels baby!! whoot whoot! lol Yeah I know it’s silly, but it;s a step a head for me since I want to compete in figure one day. Now I need to buy some suits and I am half way there! Hmm…I wonder what color I should get???

I am so excited. I just bought my first pair of clear high heels on e-bay! A step closer to competing. Hmm..now I’ll have to get 2 posing suits, some tanning lotion and I am all set. Maybe I should buy some outfits to motivate me more to be on stage! I just wanted to let everyone know what was going on and what I did! Now I’ll just be waiting for my shoes, gotta love getting mail!

Help with night time knoshing!

Hey guys! I need help or ideas for when the night time hunger strikes! I eat very clean all day but as soon as 8pm hits I am very hungry!!! And of course I want something sweet and if I give in I regret it later and feel awful! What can I do to over come this? I have tried keeping myself busy and all, but then  end up going to bed starved and then wake up at midnight wanting to eat something and I have a hard time sleeping when I feel very hungry at that point. PLease help me with some ideas or something?

Do and of you get that way where soon as the night comes your hungry and crave the bad stuff??

What to do when those cravings strike!

Don’t you hate being a women sometimes? Look at what we all have to go through in our lives from periods to child birth to hot flashes, but what I hate is the cravings I get right before that time of month! Sorry guys if this is disturbing, but it’s so true! It makes it even harder when you ar trying to diet to look your best.

I always crave something sweet and creamy like peanut butter, ice cream or even jelly belly’s. What is the best way to help these cravings without ruining your diet? I found one trick to satisfy something sweet. If my cravings are strong for something sweet, Ill make some sugar-free jell-o. It works and helps the cravings! Does anyone else have any ideas???
