I just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year, and much success in 2007! All of your goals and dreams can be accomplished through dedication, honesty, strong willpower, and a standard of INVIOLABLE moral values that you set for yourself, which no one can cause you to deviate from. For me, this discipline starts with my diet, and radiates outward. If that is in place, everything else comes as well. We all have our own ways, but find what works for you, and focus your energies on becoming a better person everyday! Dream big, ACT bigger!! Happy New Year!

Well, after 14 days of eating extremely clean, I finally cracked. I’m pretty lean now though, so I think I’m ready to do it once every 7 days. Yesterday night, I had General Tso’s Shrimp from the Chinese restaurant, then a whole chocolate bar, half a chocolate cake, and a little natural peanut butter. Whew. It was what I call the DIRTY REFEED. I woke up this morning, and DAMN do I look sick!! Veins everywhere, cuts, wow. But I do feel it in my stomach. So this morning I woke up and did 45 mins of cardio in a sweatshirt as soon as I woke up. I also know I have a bunch of preservatives in me, that’s why I was sweating more than usual. I am also very hot today because of the "trick" I pulled on my metabolism with the blast of calories and non-diet food. My muscles are full, and I will back off on the carbs today (getting them mostly from cucumber, and broccoli). I will drink a lot of water today, and eat only protein with my meals until later on if I feel I need some carbs. This day is the "quick flush" day to rid my body of the preservatives after the dirty refeed. Then tomorrow, it’s right back to my regular day filled with complex carbs for another 7-14 days, until the next refeed day! It’s how I like to do it!!

Merry Christmas to all my male gym rats and female gym bunnies! I was up on Christmas morning like a kid opening presents. What was my present? Improving my physique by doing 60 minutes of cardio in a sweatshirt on an empty stomach. Up at 5:30AM, down to the treadmill. Just because it’s a holiday, doesn’t mean I am going to make an excuse and falter on my diet. All my meals for the day are planned out and ready to go, and wherever this Christmas day will bring me, my meals will come along for the ride. I feel much better when I stay focused with my diet, and don’t let any outside influences deter me from making sure I consume the proper nutrients to keep lean. When I eat clean, I sleep better, am more productive, and am a more positive influence to my clients and fellow aspiring fitness models and bodybuilders, who are my motivating factor to stay in shape. There are troops over in Iraq getting killed today so that I can sit here and do what I do to make my living. The least I could do is represent my job to the best of my ability for those troops by taking in solid nutrients, and enjoying my Christmas without destroying my results! Merry Christmas to all, and please, PLEASE have some cheat foods if you want, so I can live vicariously through you!!

Looks like I’m going to be one of the psychos who eats clean on Christmas. I have some shoots coming up after January and if I’m to be professional, I have to keep to it, holiday or not. Just another day for me. These times of the year are times that it gets hard, especially when you are pressured from family or friends, and you have upcoming work that requires you to be in shape. I know it will pay off though, and I know that there are others like me who are gritting through it and just not thinking about cheat food during the holiday. Hats off to the select few! Shred it up, guys and girls.

I’ve switched over to no complex carbs for the next few days, and boy are the cravings kicking in. It pays to stay strong though, because I know it will get me where I want to be. But damn, does it get difficult sometimes.

It’s been a while since I started to go through the ripping process again, but once again the bug has really hit me to get in sick shape. The skin thinning process is about to begin again, and it feels great!
