I'm so glad you found a trainer that fits YOU! That's very important. I always sit down with potential clients before they sign with me to make sure there is a good "fit." Otherwise, you are just spinning your wheels. It's a shame the PT's in your gym were not more helpful. My clients are free to call, email, and stop me in the gym (when I'm not training someone else) with their questions. They get a journal from me to log their food and workout programs; I'm big on teaching them to have a plan and stick to it. Eventually, you will go out on your own, so your trainer should give you all the tools you need to transform your body and continue on without them. I wish you all the best!!!! Take those pics now!

From what I've read, alcohol actually lowers the body's efficiency in metabolizing fats &amp; carbs (i.e. it's a nice little fat storing enhancer). I love wine too, but have sworn it off for awhile til I get BF around my mid-section to where I want it.

Injuries suck BIG TIME! A shoulder injury (ummm that happened in my freggin sleep!) put me out of training with weights on upper body for 12 weeks 3 years ago! It SUCKED! But you can still do cardio...so dont let it stop you...you will have to adjust things hun!!

Let me know if you need more ideas k! And I have a friend who does injury rehab...so I can ask him for some ideas too k!

Cheer up girl!! Your tough as NAILS!!

Sounds like you have the right attitude and keep pushing through.. I agree with Flybuck.. hit up some push-ups.. you'll still gain definition from it and it will still help, but sharp pains are not ok. Build everything else around it for now. It will come back.

Sorry to hear... keep fighting through and do your best to work around the pain. After you're confident it's healed you might want to start off with something like pushups on your knees just to get your range of motion back before starting back in on the weights.

Really strange, I've never heard of that before. Wish I could help. Keep searching for answers though, they come to those who seek.
