STRIP
I joined the gym’s weight loss contest today for fun. Why the hell not. I have to lose 5% of my body weight in 10 weeks. Easy. that’s like 8 pounds.
Anyway, I weighed in and was disappointed I hadn’t lost weight. No no, it’s not muscle damnit, as I haven’t lifted this week or at all since starting (at least not worth a damn). I was sore all week from my PT session so I’ve decided never to go back to PT.
I left a little late today so I only had time to do 20 mins of interval training on the eliptical and 10 minute cool down on the treadmil at 1.0 incline 3.2 pace. then i stretched. Next week (well saturday I guess) I will start lifting again. I’m only doing a lunch time workout tomorrow (Cardio) and then it’s Troika at night so we’ll see how sober I can stay
Tuesday at the hockey game I couldn’t believe I didn’t drink. Then afterwards we went to my fave spot ZOLA and I totally forgot I wasn’t drinking and ordered a drink. Then 10 seconds after I ordered my Zola martini I literally said out loud "what the ****, I’m not supposed to drink right now!" but I drank it because it was $10.
So we’ll see all that happens this weekend. Def have to step it up a notch! Need to start walking meeko in the morning to get my heart pumping for the day, wake up my metabolism, and burn a bit of sugar off. OH AND SPEAKING OF SUGAR, Damn CVS to hell and their abundence of it! Sour Patch kids are my super weakness and I’m suprised I didn’t buy a pack! My ankle is bothering me again. Most likely from my Franco Sarto boots. Gonna donate to the goodwill so if anyone wants a stellar pair of boots head to the Arlington goodwill on Glebe!
