Whats wrong with oats?
Ever since I have stopped eating oats (1/2 cup) in the morning and replacing the carbs with equivalent amount of carbs from fruit or rice cakes, I have been dropping weight and leaning out like crazy. I’m not kidding, everything else the same my stomach is harder and leaner. I have no idea why, water retention?

Wow…could be water retention?? I ‘m not sure…and oats is definatly on the ‘clean eating’ list…but now i’m gonna try the switch and see what happens! Some of use are just so sensitive to wheat that even as rough oats they affect us.

i would say its a combination of water retention AND the fruits, getting the necessary vitamins and antioxidants …

damn! i’ll pass on the oats and go for the rice cakes! i love plain, unsalted one w/ a little bit of s.f. strawberry jam w/ a ice cold protein shake! sooo good!
