The stomach acids actually play a part in the difference in blood types. Type A's have less stomach acid for digestion than type O's and therefore can't handle red meats or acidic things like tomatoes as well. It also explains why type O's are more prone to getting acid reflux problems and why type A's are more prone to stomach cancers. It all has to do with the ancestry and the types of foods those ancestry's evolved and adapted to. Many anthropologists believe all humans evolved from Africa originally, and then migrated out to different parts of the world, with different environments and food availability that evolved the populations into different skin colors, metabolism types, and even bone structures to name a few. This is like you said with the lizard but over a much longer period of time. There is an evolutionary explanation for almost every way the body functions. Maybe in today's fat society humans will evolve to metabolize hamburgers more efficiently and somehow evolve to be skinny wouldn't that be something? Nah actually I believe it's the bodybuilding community that is the"fittest" and will be the survival of our population as everyone else dies off at younger ages from heart disease, diabetes and lung cancer. Well and AIDS of course, but bodybuilders typically have a decreased sex drive anyways so there you go! Thanks for the reply

hmm some people lack enzymes to digest meat and maybe thats why they have upset stomachs, some eskimos lack enzymes that help digest complex carbohydrates, maybe why some people are allergic or can not eat some grain products too. *Shrug*

some people that can not eat red meat, ussally are able to eat and digest white meat like chicken, pork, fish though.

I doubt its the blood type, animals and human adapt to their environment and conditions, and the genes mutate or adapt to help them survive. just like people with Lactose intolerant from milk. mostly places where they didn't have dairy farming, lactose intolerance is high in blacks and asian about 90%+ except for Fulani of Western Africa that depended on milk on their diet.
whites are in the 20%-25% range and europeans was like 4% because of domestication of sheep and cows, and growing grain etc,but basicly places where milk was a main part of their diet the lactose gene stays on after age 5 so they are still are able to digest and drink milk when they are also an adult.vegans dish out disinformation and scare tactics that all humans shouldn't drink milk because all humans cannot digest milk after age 5,thinking they will save cows from abuse and being eaten.people even bash the famous black celebrities that wear the milk mustache in the pro milk advertisements because blacks are usually lactose intolerant.

just recently there was an article about a species of lizard that only lived on one island or something and the scientist took the lizard and put it on another island that didn't have the insects or food they feed on and the lizards a bigger jaw shape giving them a stronger bite force to break off small twig or plant branches to feed on the vegetation &amp; stomach changed to be able break down and digest plant matter, after only 36 years.
