So after my competition I spent a week in Veagas just eating buffets and drinking.  It was all controlled but still much more lax than my competition diet.  I got back to Tucson yesterday and weighed in this morning to see what the damage was.

Competition weight: 115 lbs, 10% bf

This morning weight:  115 lbs, 8%bf

Is this awesome or what?  How does this happen?  My legs look bigger and more ripped than competition day!  I start training tomorrow and now it’s nice because I don’t have to worry about dropping some pounds before putting on muscle.

I’m doing a show in Tucson here on April 26th, and I think I’m going to put on some mass instead of dieting down more.  I lost 4 lbs of muscle the last two weeks before competition because I was only eating 800 calories a day from protein (about 80g), 15 carbs/day and 15 almonds.  Oh and ALOT of green veggies.  I dropped alot of fat and was ripped on stage, but at NPC shows they want MUSCLE and let me tell you those girls were huge.  I felt scrawny compared to them.  I had been freaking out that my legs were too big because like most women I hold the fat in my legs.  Well the main judge actually told me I needed to have MORE mass on my legs.  I couldn’t believe it!  My whole like I’ve always hated my "big legs,"  then to work my a** off for 6 months to hear they are too small!  Ironic I guess.  It was my disorder of always looking in the mirror and thinking they are still fat, but they’re not now.

I’d like to find other people competing in the ABA show here in Tucson.  Email me at tkpumpkin@gmail.com
