Meals
Everyone says eat small meals all day. I do that, but for lunch today I pigged out on fish, chicken, salad and mashed potatoes at the Hometown Buffet. It feels good to stuff myself from time to time. I get all vascular and then I have a ton of energy for my workout.

But then you’re not burning anything off. Do you work out for a longer period than normal after eating a meal like that?

Well I mean naturally I’ll just have more energy for the workout. So for example if I’m doing legs on a day like that I get in a few more reps when I’m doing squats and really push to failure, and I think that really makes the difference between "she works out" and "she competes" ( Actually the other day I was deadlifting 155 lbs and a guy asked me if I am a gymnast or what am I competing in) Also then at the end of the workout it always comes down to the decision if I feel like doing abs or not. If I have the extra energy usually I’ll do it and won’t cut the workout short. This is off-season behavior of course.
