Getting back at it.

Monday, July 21st, 2008

Well it has been a while since I have written one of these so i hought I would update everyone.  As some of you know i had to take a break from training in the spring due to some illness and changes I had to make in my diet.  Well a 2 month break turned into a 4 month break and I got lazy and got a little soft. Well the good mews is i didnt gain to much due to diet being ok still but not as strict as i am when i train.  So my girlfriend is starting her new job next week and she works every night this week starting tomorrow so ill be back at it tomorrow after work.   I plan on getting stricter than I ever was before so i plan on seeing results.  It sucks ill need to figure out where I am tomorrow and start from there i plan on doing more cardio to start with light weights for high reps for the first couple weeks and then work from there.  So wish me luck and be sure that you will see some exciting changes in the near future.

Yep still going.

Thursday, July 19th, 2007

Well I am still on track and still holding at the same weight but i see that i am building and the weight is shifting around on my body.  I am gaining strgenth for the most part. My chest is still comming along slowly but I guess i want to much at once there and if i look at where I started I have made great progress.  I am trying a lot of different Protien shakes now trying to see if i have better luck with any one and I am actually seeing that if  use them for different meals ad such the variety is giving me the best gains.  My body just can’t take all one thing it seems to have a slower response when i do that.  I really like the ProCore advance that i am trying now it has a great carmel taste and no lactose.  It is pretty new technology but i like it after a week of use.

I am really doing well with my 5 day split now i am going to continue with the way i have it now till august then i am going to look in to grouping opposite muscle groups and do some super setting for a while. I like to change everything up every 6 weeks or so it really seems to work for me.  Still planing on reaching all my goals 100% natural and i think i can do it.  i must admit though when i see how cyceling and such can really be a boost i think about it.  It jsut is not worth it to damage my body and i feel that God gives us our gifts and that is what we should stick with.

So yep I am still going forward!!

Leg balsting and diet/supplements

Tuesday, June 12th, 2007

I really blasted my legs today it the pump feels great!  I set personal best in quad extensions 200 pounds for a set of 8.  That was my final of for sets where i jumped my self up looking for a new base weight for me sets.  I hope to do all four of my working sets at 200 next week.  I really think my diet is helping right i am eating a little more and not really concerned about weight loss. I am looking to gain Muscle so my protein is are about 80% of my grams to pound ratio.  I don’t want to shock my system to much with the 1 to 1 protien intake.  I am slowly working towards that. Also next week I am going to get to go from 4 meals to 6 meals a day.  I have to wait till pay day to stock up on what I need inorder to do it.  I am really just playing around know to figure out how my body responds to different excercises.  Squats and deadlifts have really boosted my leg strgenth.  I also added some incline work to my chest workout a few weeks and I can see a huge difference there.

I am also taking Creatine monohydrate pre workout I am not sure if it is helping yet.   I currently have to stay away from any caffiene so I am note sure if any pre workout drinks are an option for me.  I am still looking and open for suggestions there.

It is not pain it is strait gains babe!!

Eating cleaner.

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

I have really concentrated on eating a lot cleaner the last couple of weeks. It really seems to be helping me greatly.  I have noticed a lot better gains in the gym strgenth and recovery wise.  I also have been loosing more inches quicker it seems.  I also have cut all caffeine and cut my alcohol intake to about 2 beers a week.  I am feeling a lot better and getting better sleep so it really seems to be helping.  Its amazing if you train hard and set goals it is really easy to stay on track.  Still having touble losing around the mid section but I can’t complain I have lost 9 inches since december 5th.  I am actully a lot further now than I thought I would originally be.
