!Better and Better!

Well today was just a cardio and abs day for me. I really need to be making sure that Im taking my cardio day more serious. Its just so hard to be in the gym and not go pick up some weights. I just got to do it before it starts taking a toll on my body and joints.

 

My cousin called me today to see if I wanted to go running with him. We are trying to get in better running condition because we are gonna be going to CHI to run in a 10 miles men’s health challenge on Oct 18, 2009. I think it will be a good time and great training for us. The 3 miles we ran wasnt to bad. We ran it in like 35min. I dont know if that bad or good. Im sure we could of cut that time down  a little bit but we did a lot of talking… Hehehe!

 

It seems things are getting better and better for me everyday day when it comes to improving my body. Im starting eat really well and making sure Im getting 5-6 meals a day. Ive cut alot of sugar from my meals and I mean a lot. I noticed I have a lot more energy and stamina as well.

 

Going to be working on my abs and forearms alot this next month or so. I guess you can say I want the Nick Edge abs lol!!! My forearms just dont look right now that my biceps are getting a lot bigger. So I need to research some great exercises for that.

My Night Ride Home After The Gym

The ride home from the gym was really great. The windows down the breeze sweeping through the car. It was all so perfect for a moment. So surreal. The headlights beamed out in front of me onto the road leading me home. The sky was so clear. I felt like I wanted to climb a latter so high I could paint the most deepest mural to share to everyone how good I felt.

As the trees passed the side of me and realized how beautiful life can be. This tingle of pure hope, grace passed through my body and for a second, I felt as if the top of the car was gone and I could jump upward and unfold wings from my back and take off towards the heavens. I’ve always felt like I was here to help people no matter how my life turned out or any challenges that stands in front of me.

Oh how great the ride home was. I ask you all to love life and tell the people that you share your days with that you love them.

Not So Well But Ohhh Well…

Not been feeling good the last couple of day because we started inventory and all the dust mest me all up. Feeling a little better tonight so I think I gonna go ahead and do Fridays leg a shoulder workout in tonight. Nose stuffy and a screatch in my throat but ohhh well. Ill update my workout tracker when I get home.

Gynecomastia Sucks!

So I think I have what doctor call gynecomastia on my right peck. If you look at some of the pics Ive posted you can see it. Ive had this lump for about 3 years and I cant stand it. Its really starting to get to me mentally because its so noticeable. From research Ive learned they will go away in most cases in about 2-3 year. It sucks badly because I wanna be able to take my shirt off when its nice out but I don’t want a man boob just on one side lol… At least my body could have gave me one in both sides so its not so noticeable.

 

Ive read that sometimes if you bring your body fat down the chances of it going away is greater. So time to quite bad eating and start logging everything I eat. So next Tuesday Im gonna get my body fat % and start dropping it as much as I can. Wish me luck and please if you have any good recipes on good healthy food please share. Ill also be post a blog on here about my food intake so that maybe you all can give me feedback on what I’m taking or suggest a substitute.  

 

I just want this to go away so I can be the confident me again.

Pump to Dump!

Well today was supposed to be my rest day… But I still ended up at the gym after work.

 

Well my weight went down a little which I’m not happy with. I know why too though. I didn’t really have a breakfast. I know I need to get a little more consistent on eating my meals, ecspecailly breakfast. Well this morning all I had was 4 raw eggs mixed with a cup and a half of juice. Got off work early so I was to lazy to go get something to eat. Another mistake if I wanna bulk up some. All I really had was 1 scoop of VPX NO Shotgun with 9oz of water before my workout.

 

I been on NO Shotgun for about two weeks now and its really helped out I think. But in the past I always mixed it with 8oz of Banana/Mango juice. So today I mixed it with just straight water and I must say I felt it kick in faster and with more effect than with the juice. So water for now on.

 

One thing I need to do some research on is how long does the NO Shotgun really last cause about a hour into my workout poof its gone. Can I take a 20min rest break and drink another scoop with 8oz of water again? Or is that not a good thing? I just want that pump I have at the start to prolong just about a hour more.

 

Then after the gym had a huge meal and made sure I got plenty to eat.

 

Well last night thanks to all the great feedback and suggestion on what to take as a postwork out supplement forum I posted, I ordered Torrent from *******************.com I think I go to a good price on it. 35.00 is all I spent.

 

Well I’m gonna do some more research on here for a while. Please shoot me some comments and feedback please I need all I can get.

Not So Hot Today…

Well today wasnt the great of workout days for me. The new workout I doing really throwing me off a little. I do 3 set of 12-15 reps and on the last set Im doing that set to fail. In the past I would just do Med weight 6-8 reps and build up in weight on the second and third set. But this 12-15 reps really got me workouts feeling funny. It seem like the 6-8 rep area im good and when I hit that tenth rep Im all moooooosh. Maybe I just need a need to drop weight, but I so dont wanna go backwards. Ill stay with for about three weeks and see what kind of results Im getting.  

 

I also just dont have that drive anymore. In the past I would get all pumped before I did a set, and now I just dont have that no more. Any feedback on what I do or take to get that lost burn back?  

 

One thing I know I need to really work on and get right is good form. I think I need to just suck it up and drop weight till I get great form on my lifts.

 

Did some jump roping which havent done since like elementry school… lol! Lets just say I have some nice welts on the right tricep from the rope hitting me caused by me getting cocky with the speed and painful failure heheheh! Oh well I had fun.

Ok today is my first blog posting on BB.com Im pretty stoked to start reading and posting blogs on here.

Im sure you all will see me asking some way newbie questions on here. Oh well Im learning and Im gonna have some fun with it too. Well hope to hear from some new people and take in some great feedback and advise.
