The January “Newbies”
Alright, I have to rant. For the past couple of weeks, I have read a flood of bodyblogs and comments making fun of "the January people," the "newbies", etc. with everyone rolling their eyes and making fun of them. I just want to point out that we should be encouraging people to better themselves. Every one of us was a newbie at some point. Some of those "January people" will stick with it and turn into "year round people." So, let’s cut them some slack and try to be a little more welcoming. There, I am done ranting, hopefully for the year.

This is the 2nd time i’ve read a comment like this. While it’s nice to say. I think people need to be a little less sensitive to outside influences. If you take some criticism, use it. Show them the better. Show them wrong. This all goes without saying. Man up.

I’m guilty as charged for criticizing the ‘resolutionists’. I’m always happy to see new people flock to fitnes…heck, I wish some of my friends would. But sometimes at the end of the day, you jnust wanna get in and get out without having to jump over bodies and fighting for equipment.
