I want to graduate to running (slowly) on the treadmill so I went out and bought a pair of expensive running shoes. Now, I feel like I am running on fluffy clouds as I shuffle along. Life is good until I get the credit card bill.

Congratulations on your weight loss, and good luck for the future. One thing you might consider is looking into HIIT (High-intensity-interval-training) instead of "just" running. Running is great, and I’ll be the first to admit sometimes I don’t give it my all, but I like the physiological benefits of HIIT.
